There are seven Elements in Genshin Impact, and before Jadeplume Terrorshroom, the game has a boss of every Element except Dendro. This beast is the one players have to constantly defeat if they wish to ascend their Collei and Tighnari in Genshin Impact.

Players can access the Jadeplume Terrorshroom by entering a secret portal, while defeating the boss requires a degree of understanding of the Dendro Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact.

Simply go inside it, and Travelers will be teleported next to the boss area’s Teleport Waypoint.

How To Beat Jadeplume Terrorshroom In Genshin Impact

Being an oversized mushroom, the Jadeplume Terrorshroom has a large Dendro Resistance. However, it is not immune to Dendro. The boss has an 80% Dendro RES, and 25% RES to the other types of DMG. The Resistance is reduced by 25% in the Stunned state, lowering the RES count to 55% for Dendro, and 0% for the other DMG type.

The most important thing to know about the Jadeplume Terrorshroom is, just like any other Fungi, it has an Activated and Scorched state. The Activated state is achieved by hitting the boss with Electro or Electro-Dendro Elemental Reactions in Genshin Impact (Quicken, Spread, Aggravate), while Scorched occurs when the enemy is Burning. The Jadeplume Terrorshroom will remain in its normal state if players avoid using Electro and Pyro.

There are a few advantages and disadvantages for each state:

  • Activated state: The Jadeplume Terrorshroom will get enraged and deal burst damage, but will enter a Stunned state for 15s afterward.
  • Scorched state: The boss will not attack but will instead summon some Scorched Floating Dendro Fungus. Players will have a lot of room to attack the Jadeplume Terrorshroom when it’s summoning its minions.
  • Normal state: The Jadeplume Terrorshroom will not summon minions or deal burst damage, but players have to deal with its various moveset.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom Activated State

The Activated state occurs when the Jadeplume Terrorshroom’s Fury indicator is filled. Electro DMG will fill it up slightly (2%), while Quicken, Spread, and Aggravate will fill it up by a far higher amount (15%). Note that hitting the boss with Pyro will reset the Fury count.

After entering this state, the boss’s hits will become stronger, but it will be Stunned shortly after.

After falling down, players have around 15s to deal as much damage to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom as possible. The Genshin Impact boss’s Resistance is also reduced in this state, so make it count.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom Scorched State

Meanwhile, the Scorched state is simply achieved by hitting the Jadeplume Terrorshroom with Pyro attacks. The Jadeplume Terrorshroom will lose its color and attempt to return to its normal state by summoning some Floating Dendro Fungus.

The Floating Dendro Fungus spawn in the Scorched state by default, so their attacks will hit harder than in the normal state. Don’t worry, though, these little minions are easy to take care of.
