Genshin Impact has confirmed that players will soon have a new way to acquire Intertwined Fates. The game offers two types of fates, Intertwined and Acquiant Fates, both of which can be purchased by Primogems. They are used for wishing on the game's banners which offer various characters and weapons.

Intertwined Fates are much more popular in Genshin Impact since they can be used on Limited Character Banners, which usually contain one five-star and three four-star characters. As the game's playable roster keeps expanding with every new update, most banners now include two five-star characters. The ongoing second part of update 3.4 features two popular S-tier characters, Yelan and Hu Tao, and players who want to acquire them don't have a lot of time to do so since their banner is scheduled to expire on February 28.

The official live stream event for Genshin Impact update 3.5 has revealed an interesting detail that many players might have missed. According to the event, players will be able to acquire 1 Intertwined Fate for every finished Archon Quest in the game. This means that depending on their progress, Travelers can obtain up to 22 fates which will help them in their quest to pull for desired character from the limited banner. The Special Program also revealed a lot of the upcoming content including two new characters, Dehya and Mika. Dehya will be a new five-star character while Mika is confirmed to have a lower four-star rarity.

Dehya will be a new Pyro DPS character whose kit revolves around her Elemental Burst. It allows her to throw away her claymore and enter the Blazing Lioness state which will infuse her Normal Attacks with Pyro damage. While she seems like a decent DPS choice, many players will probably skip her banner since HoYoverse confirmed that Dehya will join the Standard Banner once 3.6 arrives.

This means that after 3.5 ends, players will have a chance of adding her to their team whenever they lose a 50/50 chance on the limited banner. Dehya's transfer to the Standard Banner will also make it much harder to get all of her constellations which are very important for most DPS units.

When it comes to Dehya's exact release date, she is expected to join the roster in the first part of 3.5 which will arrive around March 1. The new four-star character Mika is scheduled for the second part of the update which will also feature re-runs for two five-star Cryo characters, Ayaka and Shenhe.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
