The recent edition of the nation of Inazuma has had Genshin Impact fans busier than ever since its release. This vast area features tons of new loot, bosses, enemies, interesting characters, and beautiful scenery. However, while caught up with all the new world and archon quests, it can be difficult to truly appreciate and take in all the new sights and sounds.

It's important to remember to stop and smell the naku weeds once in a while and take a break from the quests to simply explore the beautiful land. For those Genshin Impact fans that have been preoccupied with all the main and side quests of Inazuma, here are a few hidden locations that may not have already been explored.

Updated October 25, 2021, by Christine Mendoza: The nation of Inazuma is still growing and in the most recent 2.2 update, the mysterious fog-filled Tsurumi Island has been made available! Make sure to aid Miss Sumida and little Ruu in order to truly free the island of its foggy curse. After completing the world quest, Tsurumi Island is free to explore for all its unique treasures.

However, traversing the dangerous nation of Inazuma can grow tiresome after a few dozen hours. To help players out with exploration, a few new interesting locations from the ever-expanding nation of Inazuma have been added to the list. It's always a good idea to keep exploring but for those that find the new area a bit overwhelming, here are a few good starter locations to check out.

Northeast Of Mt. Kanna

Genshin Impact Inazuma Northeast Of Mt. Kanna Hidden Chest2
  • What You'll Find: Hidden remarkable chest

When roaming around the plains of Tsurumi Island, take a moment to check every nook and cranny as there are some diligently hidden chests around this new area. Northeast of Mt. Kanna, while strolling along a walkway in the caves, there will be a small shrine accompanied by some lit candles and a small statue. Behind this little shrine, there is a small crack in the cave wall that homes an inconspicuous remarkable chest.

The chest is visible from both sides of the wall, so simply crawl through to grab the spoils.

Southeast Of Oina Beach

Genshin Impact Inazuma Southeast Of Oina Beach
  • What You'll Find: Electroculus + seelie + common chest (+ Electro seelie puzzle)

When exploring the shores of Oina Beach, make sure to visit the small crook off to the east; there is a small cave-like area that houses a playful seelie and a hovering electroculus. After climbing up to quickly grab the electroculus, escort the seelie to its home for a reward.

After following the seelie across the shore and unlocking a common chest, the seelie will then lead the player to a bonus puzzle that involves electro seelies to score some more exciting spoils.

Center Of Shirikoro Peak

Genshin Impact Inazuma Center Of Shirikoro Peak
  • What You'll Find: Hidden electroculus

While it is routine to take a look up high to the mountains when trying to track down a missing electroculus, this particular one throws players for a loop. While visiting the beautiful Shirikoro Peak, make sure to carefully inspect the large tree in the middle.

Instead of climbing up as high as possible, looking for the hidden electroculus on the treetops, take a trip downward instead. This particular electroculus is hiding right underneath the tree in the center of Shirikoro Peak instead of hanging out in its branches.

West Of Autake Plains

Genshin Impact Inazuma West Of Autake Plains
  • What You'll Find: Thunderbird statue + summoned thunder sakura bough + hidden electroculus

On the cliffs of Autake Plains, players may notice an electroculus trapped behind a barrier. This barrier needs an electrogranum summoned by a nearby sakura thunder bough in order to be crossed, yet there isn't an accessible one in sight.

After completing some world quests and obtaining the equitable feather called the Peculiar Pinion, this electroculus can finally be accessed. Nearby, there is a thunderbird statue; use the Peculiar Pinion gadget to summon a hidden sakura thunder bough and use the electrogranum to easily pass through.

Southwest Of Autake Plains

Genshin Impact Inazuma Southwest Of Autake Plains
  • What You'll Find: Hilichurls dancing with a seelie + common chests

On the smaller island southwest of Autake Plains there is a small colony of hilichurls. There, players can find a chest to unlock after defeating the surrounding enemies, but if one treads carefully, they can find a peculiar scene.

Inside one of the hilichurl huts, is a small seelie that seems to have captivated the attention of some dancing hilichurls. Whether the seelie is their captive or if it doesn't mind the company is debatable, but either way, after reluctantly defeating the partying hilichurl, following the seelie leads to an easy common chest.

Southeast Of Chirai Shrine

Genshin Impact Inazuma Southeast Of Chirai Shrine
  • What You'll Find: Hilichurl digging up a hidden electro seelie + precious chest

On the shores southeast of Chirai Shrine there is a four-part puzzle to unlock a precious chest. In order to open this chest, players must reunite four electro seelies with their homes. While the other three seelies are out in the open, near their homes, the last one isn't as easy to find.

The final electro seelie is actually hidden by a curious hilichurl. Along the shore is a lone hilichurl, suspiciously digging in the corner near the bottom of a cliff. Defeat this hilichurl to unearth the hidden electro seelie and escort it back for a well-deserved precious chest.

North Of Wakukau Shoal

Genshin Impact Inazuma North Of Wakukau Shoal
  • What You'll Find: Thunderbird statue + electro seelie + common chest + puzzle + exquisite chest (stone slate)

On one of the cliffs north of Wakukau Shoal, there will be a set of uniform stones, all spaced out, accompanied by yet another thunderbird statue. Bring out the handy Peculiar Pinion gadget once again to activate the puzzle.

This will then summon an electro seelie that reveals the solution to the puzzle. After solving the puzzle and hitting each stone in the correct order, this will yield a common chest and an exquisite chest that holds a stone slate.

Unnamed Islands (Moshiri Kara)

Genshin Impact Moshiri Kara
  • What You'll Find: Remarkable chests

When traveling offshore, far up north of Tsurumi Island, west of Serai Island, there is a small unnamed island. Here, players can find a hidden domain called Moshiri Kara. In order to access it, the player must unlock it by traveling to the three neighboring islands and completing three different challenges.

However, don't be so quick to leave after completing each one. On these smaller hilichurl structures out at sea are hidden remarkable chests that are unlocked after defeating all surrounding enemies.

Shipwreck On Seiraimaru

Genshin Impact Seiraimaru Shipwreck Map Location Inazuma
  • What You'll Find: Electroculus + various artifacts/weapons + rust worn key + seelie + various chests + various cooking ingredients + light-up tile puzzles

This area may technically be out in the open, however, it is somewhat unassuming at an initial glance; consequently, many players may simply pass this location on their way to complete other main/world quests. While the shipwreck itself and simple puzzle for a chest may be nice, it is what lies underneath that is truly valuable. After solving the puzzle on board, don't be so quick to run away with all the spoils.

Upon completion of the mini puzzle on deck, venture down to find a hidden opening just below that area to find an entire maze of goodies. This location is not only a great place to find useful spoils but also acts as a fun mini-dungeon.

South Of Asase Shrine

Genshin Impact South Of Asase Shrine Map Location 2 Inazuma
  • What You'll Find: Two adorable cats on a romantic date + a pile of fowl

While it's no surprise to run into the occasional crowd of cats on Asase Shrine, this particular location is definitely a place worth visiting – especially for those always in need of food!

South of the main teleport point on the island is a large, flat rock where two little cats can be found, sitting together looking out to the beautiful ocean view. Not only are these adorable felines good at planning a great location for their date, but they've also come prepared with a picnic! On the rock, in front of the cats is a pile of fowl, free for the taking.

Hopefully, this means no more terrorizing poor little Timmie's pet birds in Mondstadt!

East Of Amakumo Peak

Genshin Impact East Of Amakumo Map Location Inazuma
  • What You'll Find: Elemental monument puzzle + common chest

The area around Amakumo Peak is incredibly mountainous and can be difficult to survey. While most of it appears to just be simple cliffs, there is a small location tucked away in a big divot along the mountainside east of the main peak.

Head over to the east side to find a hidden elemental puzzle for a quick common chest! To activate the totems, make sure to bring Lisa or Fischl along (or the Raiden Shogun for those that were lucky enough to pull her from the most recent banner).

South Of Amakumo Peak

Genshin Impact South Of Amakumo Peak Map Location Inazuma
  • What You'll Find: Heaps of ore (amethyst lump) + crowd of electro crystalflies

For those that are always in need of a steady ore supply without having to traverse to multiple locations just to get their fill, this Inazuma location is a must. On the smaller unnamed island just south of the main Amakumo Peak location, there is a goldmine (or amethyst mine?) of ore that is just waiting to be excavated.

On top of that, there is also a small crowd of electro crystalflies roaming around this area as well for those players that are always crafting condensed resin. Just make sure to grab the crystalflies before mining the ore as the flies tend to scare easily.

South Of Asase Shine

Genshin Impact South Of Asase Shrine Map Location 1 Inazuma
  • What You'll Find: Hidden electroculus + cats worshipping mint?

While each electroculus is marked on the mini-map when in close proximity, they can still be difficult to spot. South of the Asase Shrine, near the shore, is a marked electroculus. Many players' first instinct may be to look up to find that purple glow high up in a tree or near a pole; however, this one is much closer to the ground.

While not immediately visible, there is a breakable rock nearby that can be easily destroyed with a single swing of a claymore user. However, make sure to only use a single swing as there is a little crowd of cats hidden behind the rocks.

From here, it's as easy as carefully jumping up to grab the electroculus while not disturbing the cats and their mysterious mint ritual.

West Of Amakumo Peak

Genshin Impact West Of Amakumo Peak Map Location Inazuma
  • What You'll Find: Elemental monument puzzle + common chest

It's not everywhere in Teyvat that there are giant rocks casually floating around in the sky that lead to valuable loot. West of Amakumo Peak is a tricky elemental puzzle to find. This one can be easy to miss, so make sure to try to keep a high ground and look up when in this area to ensure the totems haven't been passed.

Up in the sky, on some floating rocks are elemental monuments. A total of four are needed to unlock a quick common chest. However, it's vital to keep eyes up at all times as each of the monuments are on their own separate floating rock.

Southeast Of Chinju Forest

Genshin Impact Southeast Of Chinju Forest Tanooki Surprise
  • What You'll Find: Elemental monument puzzle + a Tanooki encounter

When venturing out into new territory it can be easy to cut some corners and focus on crowded, more centralized areas of the map. However, it's worth exploring every inch of every new area; the farthest corners of the map may hold some interesting surprises!

Heading out to the farthest point, Southeast of Chinju Forest will lead players to a small elemental puzzle to solve for a quick and fun treasure to find. Make sure to stick around after solving the puzzle for a small tanooki surprise.

East Of Jakotsu Mine

Genshin Impact East Of Jakotsu Mine Hidden Area
  • What You'll Find: A hidden electroculus

While taking a stroll on the shores East of Jakotsu Mine, make sure to keep an eye out for a busy Treasure Hoarder, inspecting something in the sand. Along this shore will be a Treasure Hoarder kneeling over near a small cave entrance.

After taking him out, the player is free to head into the suspicious crack in the wall to find a small hidden area housing an electroculus free for the taking. It was better off with the Traveller than the Treasure Hoarders anyway.

Southeast Of Serpent's Head

Genshin Impact Southeast Of Serpent's Head Treasure
  • What You'll Find: A hidden electroculus + seelie + common chest

While underground, in the cave near Serpent's Head and Jakotsu Mine, there will be a long path that leads to the next central area of the cave. However, on this route, there is a small opening in the cracks of the large boulders along the path.

Follow this small opening to find a hidden electroculus and a lonely seelie waiting to be accompanied home. Simply follow the seelie as usual for a free common chest.

West Of Narukami Shrine

Genshin Impact Grand Narukami Shrine Treasure
  • What You'll Find: An Earth Kitsune + exquisite chest + hidden voicelines

During a quest found in Inazuma, the player acquires a gadget called the Memento Lens. Although it is given as an essential quest item, it is easy to forget that the Memento Lens remains in the player's inventory throughout the rest of the game, available for free use anywhere across Inazuma even after completing the quest.

On way down, when descending the Grand Narukami Shrine, make sure to keep an eye out for any Earth Kitsunes to scan. This one particular Earth Kitsune near this area unlocks some hidden dialogue and an easy exquisite chest as well.

Northeast Of Tatarasuna

Genshin Impact East Of Tatarasuna Ship Wreck
  • What You'll Find: A secluded shipwreck + electroculus

It's important to remember that Inazuma is an area that consists of many different islands and that it's worth taking the time to thoroughly explore each of these smaller spots on the map. The addition of finally being able to freely travel the seas without ever worrying about running out of stamina or drowning gives the player tons of new potential with world exploration.

When taking a boat out for some sailing, check out the small set of islands (which are actually ships) marked on the map Northeast of Tatarasuna. After a short encounter with a few enemies around a mysterious shipwreck, pop out of the boat to collect an electroculus.

South Of Araumi

Genshin Impact Treasure Southwest Of Araumi
  • What You'll Find: A luxurious chest + electroculus + common chest

When exploring the depths of Araumi, the player may come across a mysterious barrier after some digging around. After finding a Thunder Sakura Bough nearby and summoning an electrogranum, the player is then free to pass through the barrier and collect the goods.

However, don't be too quick to leave after collecting the spoils! On the way out, it may be easy to miss a small common chest, tucked away on the lefthand side of the barrier/door.

West Of Chinju Forest

Genshin Impact West Of Chinju Forest
  • What You'll Find: A locked away electroculus

While roaming around the shrine area near Chinju Forest, players may come across a small pond just below. Under the cliff, near the swallowing waters, South of the shrine area is a narrow metal gate. Behind this gate is a concealed electroculus.

However, to free this innocent electroculus from its tiny prison, the player will need to acquire and use a Rust Worn Key to unlock this metal gate; so it's best to track this location down after securing a key or marking it on the map right away.

Southeast Of Tatarasuna

Genshin Impact Southeast Of Tatarasuna Puzzle
  • What You'll Find: Mulitple pieces of amethyst lumps (ore) + connected Thunder Sakura Bough puzzle + chest

Once again using the addition of the trusty boat, sail South, over to the outskirts of Inazuma to find a small secluded island right on the edge of the map. This small island is full of little treasures. After mining the plethora of amethyst ore, there will be a puzzle to solve for a reward.

The Thunder Sakura Bough isn't there by accident, the player can use the electrogranum to solve a puzzle that connects to other neighboring islands.

Between Serpent's Head And Jakotsu Mine

Genshin Impact North Of Jakotsu Mine Hidden Treasure
  • What You'll Find: An exquisite chest + amethyst lumps + a locked away electroculus + one hidden electro seelie + common chest + scribbled notes

Just underneath Serpent's Head, there is a noticeable opening to an underground cave near the large water barrier (needed for another quest) that houses a small elemental puzzle and a few mischievous tanooki. Track down all for totems that need to be activated (and not the fake tanooki ones) and an exquisite chest will be unlocked in the middle of the cave.

Make sure to stick around and explore as there is one hidden electroculus that can be found by using the electrogranum teleportation upwards. On a high ledge, there will be an electroculus that can now be accessed by simply gliding. On the way out, keep an eye on a metal gate on the righthand side of the exit, as it will house a small electro seelie that unlocks a common chest.
