A Genshin Impact fan has shared an impressive concept for one of the most anticipated characters, the Hydro Archon known as Focalors. The world of Teyvat is spread into seven different nations, each of which has its symbolic element and an Archon who serves as its main protector.

Recent Genshin Impact updates have added parts of the new Sumeru region alongside a new element named Dendro. Sumeru's main storyline revolves around its Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali, also known as Nahida, and the God of Wisdom. Over the last couple of weeks, rumors have revealed more information about the upcoming major regions.

Reddit user -grape- has shared an interesting design for one of the upcoming Archons named Focalors who will apparently be using the Hydro element. Fans seem to like the overall concept as the post reached almost 12k upvotes on the official Genshin Impact subreddit with many comments claiming that it perfectly fits HoYoverse's approach to character design. Some players have stated that they actually thought that it was the Archon's official design, especially considering all the recent leaks about the new Fontaine region and its characters. According to previous rumors, Focalors will apparently be based on Seele, which is a character from HoYoverse's second most popular game, Honkai Impact 3rd.

Many units from the playable roster have been inspired by Honkai Impact 3rd's characters. For example, the Anemo Archon Venti, Inazuma's Raiden Shogun, and the Electro user Yae Miko, all have their respective counterparts in the other game. Recent leaks have revealed the appearance of 10 upcoming Genshin Impact characters, one of which is the Hydro Archon Focalors. These leaks should still be taken with a grain of salt since Fontaine's official release is many months away.

A leak from the game's original beta suggests that Fontaine's main city could be attached to a vertical wall and surrounded by numerous waterfalls. The whole region will apparently have a steampunk theme which fits the Hydro part of the story since steam is water. Some fans even stated that they would love to see a Hydro character whose kit revolves around using steam.

Fontaine will be located north of Sumeru's deserts and west of the Liyue region. Some fans have pointed out that an artifact description reveals that the Geo region has another port besides Liyue Harbor which could be located on the other side of the region, next to Fontaine.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
