Keqing's Opulent Splendor Outfit can be unlocked after Genshin Impact 2.4. Just like Jean's summer skin, this outfit will be the 5-star counterpart to a free 4-star character's clothing. Previously, this pattern was seen in Genshin Impact 1.6 with Jean and Barbara.
To celebrate the Lantern Rite Festival, both Ningguang and Keqing dress up in dark attire. Both have the same butterfly-like impression, but for Keqing, the gradient of blue on her dress resembles the Blue Morpho's wings. The dark color is a great fit for Keqing as an Electro character. For players who wish to get the Ningguang outfit, it's available for free via an event in Genshin Impact 2.4. Afterward, it'll be available in the Outfit Shop for 1680 Genesis Crystals. As for Keqing, though, players won't get her skin for free. Instead, here's how players can unlock Keqing's Opulent Splendor Outfit.
How To Unlock Keqing's Opulent Splendor Outfit In Genshin Impact
To unlock Keqing's Opulent Splendor Outfit, players have to find her skin in the "Character Outfits" tab in the Paimon Shop. Then, press on the Keqing outfit to purchase the skin. For the entirety of Genshin Impact 2.4, the cost is discounted to 1350 Genesis Crystals (So almost 20% off). Afterward, the outfit will cost players 1680 Genesis Crystals.
Unfortunately, Genesis Crystals are only obtainable if players choose to spend real money. At the normal price, here's how much they will cost:
- 20 USD: 1420 Genesis Crystals
- 25 USD: 1750 Genesis Crystals
- 30 USD: 2240 Genesis Crystals
Alternatively, Travelers can buy Blessing of the Welkin Moon to get 300 Genesis Crystals. Players can stack this 5 USD subscription up to six times, granting them 1800 Crystals for 30 USD.
The Welkin Moon will also grant players 90 Primogems each day they log in. Each Welkin will last for 30 days, so in total, one subscription (5 USD) will grant 3000 Primogems for the players (assuming they log in every day). However, note that stacking Welkin will only prolong the duration, but will not increase the daily Primogems count.
Before buying the outfit, players can first preview it in the Dressing Room. Here, they can check out all available Genshin Impact skins. As of Version 2.4, only four characters have special outfits: Barbara, Jean, Ningguang, and Keqing. Other than that, players can also use some "altered" skin for other characters in Genshin Impact 2.5.
Keqing's Outfit's Symbolism
To celebrate the Lantern Rite Festival, Keqing decides to shed her practical dress for something more elegant. Like a butterfly out of its cocoon, the Yuheng decides that she will morph slowly, showing that she's ready to transform together with Liyue as the future of the region is now set for mortal reign.
