As much as everyone jokes about the headstrong Outrider of The Knights of Favonius, Amber is still, deep down, a fan favorite (albeit maybe not because of her stats or power). She's kind, ready to help, and perhaps a little clumsy, but her heart is definitely in the right place. Genshin Impact's often overlooked pyro archer is sometimes outshined by many others but that doesn't stop her from having such a strong presence within the fandom.

9 Diluc Will Always Have Our Hearts
As soon as fans laid their eyes on Diluc, he was automatically first place when it came to fire users. Even with being given Amber from the very beginning as a free character, fans couldn't stop themselves from trying their hand at a gacha pull in hopes of finally getting the elusive 5-star Diluc.

8 Up In Flames
Although this particular meme doesn't directly mention Amber, this one definitely reminded players of her. Doing anything in Genshin Impact is exponentially more dangerous with a pyro user in the party.
Grass can quickly catch fire when exposed to a nearby flame; and although it's good for dealing damage to enemies, fire has no allies and will do damage to the player as well. Between Amber, her fire arrows, and her explosive bunny puppet, this meme was definitely passive-aggressively hinting at Amber.
7 Need A Light?
Poor Noelle and Amber have solidified their place in players' hearts and minds as nothing but simple tools. It seems as if most players feel as if the two have made a place for themselves on their team as the designated lighter and pickaxe.
Sure, Amber and Noelle may have other assets too, but sometimes the other members of the team happen to outshine them just a little too much and in the end, reduce them to one-trick ponies.
6 Amber Has The High Ground
Is anyone going to get tired of these Star Wars jokes? The inevitable answer is no. As if Amber wasn't already meme-able in the first place, her making this innocent statement about taking the Traveller to the high ground of Mondstadt was too easy to take out of context for this meme edit to be made. Hopefully, the Traveller's story doesn't turn out as dark as the original context.
5 Who's Useless Now?
This edit has finally given Amber the appreciation she deserves! One user on Reddit has taken it upon themselves to make sure Amber finally unleashes her true potential to the world. Here, they've taken away Amber's usual bow and arrow and replaced it with a flashy greatsword instead; specifically, Diluc's "Wolf's Gravestone."
Perhaps everyone's got it all wrong; maybe Amber's true potential didn't lie within archery. Let her handle a greatsword and let her finally use her flames as a real threat.
4 Exploration Is Everything
Half the appeal of Genshin Impact comes from the incredible world miHoYo has created for players to explore. What's the use of an open-world game if the player doesn't take their time to explore every nook and cranny?
This meme is a great expression of how most players feel. Sure, the Traveller is in dire need of finding their lost sibling after being brought to this world, but that doesn't mean they can't stop to smell the flowers (or pick them since they're valuable upgrade items). Once in a while, it's a good idea to wander around after a few quests or perhaps take the long way when heading over to the next commission; take it from Amber herself, the sights are definitely worth it!
3 From One Underappreciated Part Of The Team To Another
Another great take on this Spider-Man meme; fans of Naruto will recognize the similarities between Amber and Sakura Haruno and how each fandom treats/views them. These two serve as a valuable part of the teams they're part of! Unfortunately, both of these heroines face a lot of criticism for being "useless" as their strengths are often outshined by the rest of their comrades.
Truthfully, in the end, it's up to the player to decide how many resources they are willing to put into Amber to level her up. However, that won't stop fans from forever trying to dunk on these two for being the useless party members.
2 Amber's Had Enough
Truthfully, the majority of Amber's memes that are found flying around the internet are poking fun at her being much weaker than the rest of the playable characters in the cast. This meme finally allows the underappreciated archer to get her anger out; albeit in a misdirected way.
It is rather hilarious how similar this in-game cat is to the original "crying cat" meme, but fans know the kind Amber doesn't have it in her heart to harm a poor defenseless animal; even for the sake of a joke.
1 One Trick Amber
As sad as it is, most players do find themselves only ever switching to Amber in very specific situations. Outside of her ability to light fires, Amber is rarely used in actual combat past the beginning stages of the game. As soon as players test their luck at a gacha pull and manage another fire character, it usually means retiring Amber for good. Sorry, Amber, but as this Reddit thread says, "it really do be like that." But don't let it get to you, Amber! Players also use you to light fires to cook as well!
Perhaps that isn't the answer she wants to hear either but at least everyone can agree that Amber is adorable.
