On Seirai Island, there's a secluded cave that's hidden from external view. Previously, this cave did not have many purposes (except for that one Daily Commission). After Genshin Impact 2.3, this cave now hosts the entry to Slumbering Court Domain. The lower level of this place has basic enemies, but the higher level contains some of the newest Inazuman enemies.

For players who enjoy defensive Geo characters and healers, this Domain will be their best friend. However, for Travelers who are struggling to finish this challenge, here are some tips and compositions they can try to ease their time.

Slumbering Court Leyline Disorder

Every farmable domain in Genshin Impact has a Leyline Disorder that serves buff and debuff for Travelers to utilize (or avoid). For Slumbering Court, this is what people need to know:

  • All characters in the party gain a 40% Electro DMG Bonus.
  • When an active character triggers Electro-Charged on opponents, they will trigger a shockwave that will deal True DMG to opponents. A shockwave can be triggered in this manner once every 3s.

In short, players will have an easier time if they bring Electro and Hydro characters to the challenge.

How To Beat Slumbering Court Level 1 And 2

Slumbering Court Level 1 and 2

Level 1 And 2 Enemy List

Slumbering Court 1

  • 1 Crackling Axe Mitachurl
  • 2 Large Hydro Slime
  • 7 Hydro Slime

Slumbering Court 2

  • 2 Crackling Axe Mitachurl
  • 2 Large Hydro Slime
  • 3 Hydro Slime
  • 3 Electro Hilichurl Shooter
  • 3 Hilichurl Berserker

Character Recommendation For Level 1 And 2

  • Electro Characters: Beidou, Fischl, Keqing, Raiden Shogun, Razor
  • Cryo Characters: Eula, Ganyu, Ayaka, Rosaria, Kaeya
  • Anemo Characters: Venti, Sucrose, Kazuha
  • Pyro Characters: Hu Tao, Diluc, Klee, Xiangling, Yanfei

For Level 1 and 2 of the Slumbering Court Domain, Travelers will see a lot of small enemies. Therefore, Anemo characters would be an excellent choice to crowd-control them.

Since there are a lot of Hydro Slimes, bringing Hydro characters to this Level wouldn't be very effective. Instead, players can bring Electro characters to trigger the Leyline buff, or Cryo units to permanently Freeze the enemies.

As for Pyro units, they're generally very powerful, to begin with. When facing Hydro enemies, the characters can easily trigger Vaporize Elemental Reaction, amplifying their damage by at least 50%.

How To Beat Slumbering Court Level 3 And 4

Slumbering Court Level 3 and 4

Level 3 And 4 Enemy List

Slumbering Court 3

  • 4 Thundercraven Rifthound Whelp (Wave 1)
  • 1 Thundercraven Rifthound (Wave 2)
  • 2 Electro Hilichurl Shooter (Wave 2)

Slumbering Court 4

  • 7 Thundercraven Rifthound Whelp (Five Whelps spawn at the start. New monster will spawn each time one Whelp is killed)
  • 1 Thundercraven Rifthound
  • 1 Crackling Axe Mitachurl

Character Recommendation For Level 3 And 4

  • Electro Characters: Beidou, Fischl, Keqing, Raiden Shogun, Razor
  • Hydro Characters: Sangonomiya Kokomi, Xingqiu
  • Dedicated Healer: Sangonomiya Kokomi, Barbara, Qiqi

The higher level of Slumbering Court Domain consists of Electro Rifthounds. This time, there are no Hydro monsters, so players should bring their own Hydro units. Characters like Kokomi and Xingqiu are perfect to apply the Element and deal decent damage.

Because Rifthounds can apply Corrosion, dedicated healers like Barbara will tremendously help the battle. Other healers like Bennett and Diona can be insufficient as they solely rely on Elemental Burst to heal.

  • Corrosion: Continuously lose HP every second. Active characters can be brought down by this debuff. When a non-active character's HP is less than 15%, they will no longer lose HP due to Corrosion.
Slumbering Court Enemy

Usually, if an enemy bears a certain Element, they have higher resistance to that Element. However, Rifthounds don't share this trait. Instead, if Travelers attack the wolves with the same Element (for example, using Electro on Electro Rifthounds), Rifthounds will enter Devourer State. In this state, their attack becomes stronger, but their corresponding element's resistance will be lowered. In short, attacking Thundercraven Rifthound with Electro attack will make them weaker to Electro than to other Elements.

Therefore, while it may seem counter-intuitive, using Electro is actually the best option to easily defeat this opponent.

Slumbering Court Domain Reward

Slumbering Court Reward

The reward for Slumbering Court Domain varies based on its level. On Level 1 and 2, players can't get a 5-star artifact. On Level 3, there's some chance to get the gold artifact. On the highest Level, Travelers are guaranteed at least one 5-star artifact.

  • Defender's Will (3-star and 4-star artifacts)
  • Brave Heart (3-star and 4-star artifacts)
  • Husk of Opulent Dreams (4-star and 5-star artifacts)
  • Ocean-Hued Clam (4-star and 5-star artifacts)
  • 100 Adventure Experience
  • 1850-2525 Mora

Because of the guaranteed 5-star system, players are advised to start farming artifacts after reaching Adventure Rank 45 (and not before).
