A Genshin Impact player has shared an interesting glitch that gives incredible attack speed to the Geo bow user Gorou. Glitches are quite common in the world of Teyvat and while they can occasionally ruin a 3-star Spiral Abyss run, most of them are harmless and can even improve the overall gaming experience.
The ongoing Genshin Impact version 3.6 has added two new subregions to the game named Gavireh Lajavard and Realm of Farakhkert, both of which are part of Sumeru's desert area. With the game constantly expanding, it does not come as a surprise that players run into various bugs from invisible platforms to unkillable enemies.
A Reddit user by the name Smallreblogger has posted an interesting video showing a group of players fighting in a Genshin Impact domain. One of the characters, the Geo user Gorou, seems to be affected by a very odd glitch that turns him into an arrow machine gun. Some comments claim that this glitch is actually common, and it can be triggered by spamming the aim and shoot commands on a specific type of controller. Gorou has one of the fastest attack animations which makes this glitch even more useful for him. Other players have stated that even by using this spam technique, it's impossible to reach the attack speed seen in the video. View the Reddit thread right here.
The post attracted a lot of attention on the game's official subreddit with some players claiming that the player probably uses a special type of software to achieve this speed. However, a couple of Travelers have pointed out that players should be careful when using similar software in the game as it can easily lead to a permanent account ban. A lot of players claim that HoYoverse could've intentionally left this bug in the game in order to improve Gorou's state in the current character meta in Genshin Impact.
At the moment, he is one of the most situational characters in the game since his kit revolves around having as many Geo characters in the game as possible. The only viable team composition for this four-star bow user is probably the Mono-Geo party which consists of three or four Geo users.
This is probably the main reason why Gorou almost always appears on the same banner as the five-star Geo user Arataki Itto. With the recent introduction of the Dendro element, Geo characters have become less popular since they cannot interact with any of the new elemental reactions.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
