In Genshin Impact, there is a lot of excitement when somebody pulls a 5-star item. Suffice to say, the gacha mechanic in the game is far from forgiving; with a 0.6% chance of pulling a 5-star, many don't receive their first lucky pull until very late into the storyline.
For those unlucky enough to pull on the standard banner at first, many feel betrayed when their first pull brings up a book instead of a character. However, it isn't all bad. 5-star weapons are also luxury that will make any player's gameplay experience more enjoyable, with interesting skills that add an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay.
10 Aguila Favonia
The sword of Vennessa, Aquila Favonia is a weapon filled with both historical significance and interesting effects. In addition to a base increase of 20% attack, the blade also capable of summoning the soul of the Falcon of the West herself.
When this falcon spirit is summoned, the player will regenerate HP equal to 100% of their attack. All of this is done while inflicting 200% of attack to nearby opponents. This makes Aquila Favonia unstoppable with high-attack sword users, like Keqing and the Acting Grand Master Jean.
9 Skyward Atlas
Clouds become the friends of users with the Skyward Atlas. This book, loosely based on the Dragon of the East Dvalin and Barbatos, will gain the favor of the clouds and deal 160% attack damage.
What makes these clouds so interesting is their homing effect. This increases their accuracy in targeting foes on the field, making for a high amount of physical damage in addition to standard elemental damage.
8 Skyward Pride
The Skyward Atlas isn't the only member of the Skyward series with unique abilities. What is interesting about the Skyward Pride is that it increases all damage stats by 8%, unlike other weapons that only increase one specific stat.
Additionally, it also has the ability to create vacuum blades. Dealing physical damage in addition to the normal hit damage, the Skyward Pride enhances characters with high attack and physical damage stats like Noelle.
7 Wolf's Gravestone
The Wolf's Gravestone is considered by many to be the best claymore in the game. While this is ultimately an issue of taste, owning one will definitely make others envious. The claymore features a generous increase to general attack; specifically, 20%.
However, the strength of Wolf's Gravestone only increases more with a feature that increases attack for the entire team by 40% base refinement. To activate this bonus, the player simply needs to attack an opponent with less than 30% health.
6 Summit Shaper
An interesting choice for a variety of characters, the Summit Shaper embraces contradiction at its very core. When the wielder is protected by a shield (a defense increase), their attack goes up 100%.
Though there is no perfect sword-user for this weapon, any sword-user can excel with the Summit Shaper equipped. Shields come up fairly often, especially if another member of the party can apply passive shields, like Noelle or Diona. However, there are two particularly interesting choices: Kaeya, who shields via his constellation; and Albedo, whose Geo-vision makes shields more prevalent.
5 Vortex Vanquisher
Vortex Vanquisher is similar to the Summit Shaper. In fact, it has the same skill entirely: An increase in shielding will activate a 100% attack boost. However, the character it is intended for is different.
It's not exactly a surprise to players in the Genshin Impact community that Vortex Vanquisher is best suited for Zhongli. Shields are synonymous with the Geo Archon, not to mention that his attack is already in a fairly good place.
4 Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds
Catalyst users are often mistaken for only having support and healing potential. However, with the Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, it's easy for most catalysts to become DPS characters. This catalyst features a 10% increase in movement speed.
Even more impressive, the main feature of this 5-star catalyst is a stacking elemental damage bonus that increases every 4 seconds. This turns the tables, making it advantageous for catalyst users like Mona to become the spark of elemental reactions rather than the setup.
3 Amos Bow
The crown bow for long-range destruction, the Amos Bow is compatible with pretty much any archer in the game. What makes the Amos Bow unique is that the damage output increases with the amount of time the arrow is in the air.
In other words, a player's attacks will become more powerful the farther away they are. This is especially helpful for slow-moving boss-style opponents with weak points, like the Ruin Guard and Eye of the Storm.
2 Staff Of Homa
The crownpiece of any Hu Tao main, the Staff of Homa is an interesting choice on this list. Not because it has a skill that is particularly interesting aesthetically, but because of the risk associated with using it.
Appropriate for the playstyle of Hu Tao, the Staff of Homa rewards players with an increase in HP and a hefty natural attack boost based on Max HP. The catch is that the major increase in attack is activated under 50% HP with each 1% additional Max HP.
1 Elegy For The End
The Elegy for the End has a skill description that rivals even Fischl's blocks of text. One of the most interesting aspects of this skill is the player-base's inability to understand it. It's fairly understandable, with a lengthy process of collecting stacking sigils.
However, for those who do understand the description, they will find that their elemental mastery has increased by a striking 100 and their attack by 20%. This is a major benefit to any support archer, especially the community's favorite bard Venti.
