A new Genshin Impact chart shows an updated waiting list of five-star characters that have not been featured on a banner for a long time. Every update in the game has two separate banner cycles, each of which features a set of limited characters usually including two five-star and three four-star units.

The official live stream for the next Genshin Impact update has already revealed the four characters that will appear on a Limited Character Banner over the next couple of weeks. The only new character to arrive is the famous Anemo user Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche who plays a big part in the game's whole storyline.

Reddit user RapidFresh has created a list ranking Genshin Impact's five-star characters based on the number of updates they have missed. On top of the list is the famous Pyro polearm character Hu Tao who has not appeared on a banner for over a year. She has skipped ten consecutive updates, and her last re-run was back in the second part of update 2.2, which arrived on November 2, 2021. Even though Hu Tao is one of the oldest characters in the roster, she only had one banner re-run after her official release in update 1.3. In comparison, characters like Arataki Itto, who is scheduled to appear in 3.3, will have three banner appearances despite being released after Hu Tao's last re-run.

The Pyro user is one of the best characters in Genshin Impact, and she was considered the strongest DPS alongside Xiao back in 1.3. Recent leaks have been hinting that Hu Tao might finally arrive in update 3.4 which is scheduled to arrive in early 2023. She has a unique playstyle that includes animation cancel mechanics that can take some time to get used to, especially for newer players.

The second character on the list, the Cryo claymore user Eula, has missed ten consecutive banners. This Mondstadt character is another DPS unit that still holds the record for dealing the highest recorded damage number in the game. Her last banner appearance was alongside the Geo user Albedo back in update 2.3. Just like Hu Tao, Eula is also expected to finally appear in one of the banners for update 3.4.

Even though she was released back in January this year, Shenhe is yet to receive her first banner re-run. She is a very powerful Genshin Impact support right now with the ability to dish out tons of Cryo damage. Unfortunately for many players, there is still no official information nor credible rumors about her potential banner appearance.

Genshin Impact is available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5 with a Switch version also in development.
