In the Nazuchi Beach region of Yashiori Island, Genshin Impact players will find no shortage of Nobushi warriors to fight. One of the central landmarks in the area is a large beached pirate ship found in the north of the region. Players will find several enemies surrounding the pirate ship. On the ship's deck, players will find a Samurai NPC named Kyuuzou that will task Genshin Impact fans with a lucrative sidequest.
In the initial world quest titled "Fate of a Fighter," players will receive 40 Primogems upon its completion. However, players may not be aware that there is a hidden sequel to the sidequest that awards an additional 40 Primogems and a secret Genshin Impact achievement.
To gain access to the initial sidequest, players must first defeat the small group of enemies surrounding the ship. Once players have defeated them, a quest marker should appear on the deck of the ship.
Fate of a Fighter Quest Guide in Genshin Impact
After speaking with Kyuuzou on the ship's deck, he will task players with eliminating a group of pirates on an island south of Nazuchi Beach. This island can be quite tricky to get to, so it is recommended to teleport to the Maguu Kenki boss location and glide down to the objective.
Once players have successfully defeated the pirates, they must head back to the pirate ship and speak to Kyuuzou.
At this point, players will be tasked with obtaining 12 Naku weeds to treat Kyuuzou's wounds. These can be easily found in the area surrounding the Mikage Furnace in the Tatarasuna region.
After collecting all of the required Naku weeds from the Mikage Furnace, return to the pirate ship and submit them to Kyuuzou.
Players will now have to fast-forward time to the next day to check up on Kyuuzou's wounds. After speaking with Kyuuzou the following day, they will complete the initial Fate of a Fighter world quest and receive 40 Primogems.
At this point, players are able to unlock the hidden sequel to the quest.
In order to unlock the sidequest continuation, players must defeat four groups of Samurai that should have spawned in the Nazuchi beach area.
Once all four groups have been defeated, the quest should begin to track and alert the player to return to the pirate ship to speak with Kyuuzou.
When players return to the ship, they will find that Kyuuzou is no longer there and that he has left a note. Pick up the note in order to progress to the final objective.
Players will now be tasked with eliminating one last Samurai group that is found south of the Maguu Kenki waypoint.
After defeating all three of the enemies on top of the rock platform, players will have completed the second part of the "Fate of a Fighter" world quest and will receive an additional 40 Primogems.
Players will also unlock the "Oh, the Humanity!" secret achievement, which rewards an additional 5 Primogems.
