Genshin Impact releases a new niche support, and this time, it’s for Anemo characters. The Sumeru researcher, Faruzan, is said to have lived for one hundred years but was stuck in some sort of puzzle before she was able to return.
Players can feel that Faruzan is a researcher thanks to her geometrical animation where she releases a Polyhedron on her ultimate. This Genshin Impact character has to amass a massive 80 Energy to cast her Burst, and she also needs a high Base ATK to properly support her teammates. The following Bows are the best weapons for Faruzan in Genshin Impact.
8 Alley Hunter
- Primary Stats: 565 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 27.6% ATK
- R5 Effect: While the character equipped with this weapon is in the party but not on the field, their DMG increases by 4% every second up to a max of 40%. When the character is on the field for more than 4s, the aforementioned DMG buff decreases by 8% per second until it reaches 0%.
It is important for Faruzan to have as much Base ATK as possible since her fourth ascension passive scale with her Base ATK. For that, Genshin Impact Bows like Alley Hunter, The Stringless, Blackcliff Warbow, and Mouun's Moon are decent choices for Faruzan.
7 Fading Twilight
- Primary Stats: 565 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 30.6% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: Has three states, Evengleam, Afterglow, and Dawnblaze, which increase DMG dealt by 12%/20%/28% respectively. When attacks hit opponents, this weapon will switch to the next state. This weapon can change states once every 7s. The character equipping this weapon can still trigger the state switch while not on the field.
Fading Twilight’s high Base ATK also serves Faruzan’s purpose as a buffer with its 565 Base ATK at full level. Additionally, players can benefit from the Secondary Stats’ Energy Recharge that would help Faruzan cast her Elemental Burst more frequently. Currently, this is one of the best options for F2P players.
6 Viridescent Hunt
- Primary Stats: 510 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 27.6% CRIT Rate
- R5 Effect: Upon hit, Normal and Aimed Shot Attacks have a 50% chance to generate a Cyclone, which will continuously attract surrounding opponents, dealing 80% of ATK as DMG to these opponents every 0.5s for 4s. This effect can only occur once every 10s.
Faruzan is a buffer Support in Genshin Impact, and Viridescent Hunt is here to increase her crowd control capabilities. As an Anemo character, Faruzan’s crowd control from her kit is quite underwhelming, so this Bow can further help with this issue.
5 Sacrificial Bow
- Primary Stats: 565 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 30.6% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: After dealing damage to an opponent with an Elemental Skill, the skill has a 80% chance to end its own CD. Can only occur once every 16s.
Sacrificial weapons in Genshin Impact are an amazing choice for any Support. Characters like Faruzan, who depends on her Elemental Burst as much as her Skill will find the Sacrificial Bow to be an important weapon of choice for her kit. What further makes Sacrificial Bow a great choice for Faruzan is also its high Base ATK alongside its Energy Recharge.
4 Favonius Warbow
- Primary Stats: 454 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 61.3% Energy Recharge
- R5 Effect: CRIT hits have a 100% chance to generate a small amount of Elemental Particles, which will regenerate 6 Energy for the character. Can only occur once every 6s.
Favonius weapons can turn any Genshin Impact character into a Battery. Although Favonius Warbow has a low Base ATK, it still helps units like Xiao and Scaramouche to activate their Elemental Bursts more often. Faruzan can also benefit from the insane amount of Energy Recharge she gets from Favonius Warbow, especially to restore her high Energy demand.
3 Polar Star
- Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 33.1% CRIT Rate
- Effect: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 12%. After a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst hits an opponent, 1 stack of Ashen Nightstar will be gained for 12s. When 1/2/3/4 stacks of Ashen Nightstar are present, ATK is increased by 10/20/30/48%. The stack of Ashen Nightstar created by the Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst will be counted independently of the others.
Most 5-star weapons act as stats boosters in Faruzan’s hands to enhance her ascension passive. Polar Star, Amos' Bow, and Thundering Pulse all have 608 Base ATK, but among them, Polar Star is the best option for Faruzan. She can easily activate the weapon’s passive as players will be dealing Charged Attack, Skill, and Burst DMG often.
2 Skyward Harp
- Primary Stats: 674 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 22.1% CRIT Rate
- Effect: Increases CRIT DMG by 20%. Hits have a 60% chance to inflict a small AoE attack, dealing 125% Physical ATK DMG. Can only occur once every 4s.
Skyward Harp currently has the highest Base ATK compared to other Bows. Since she needs high Base ATK, Skyward Harp becomes her second-best option, just under Elegy for the End. Additionally, this Genshin Impact Bow can enhance Faruzan’s stats by a 22% CRIT Rate, and 20% CRIT DMG.
1 Elegy for the End
- Primary Stats: 608 Base ATK
- Secondary Stats: 55.1% Energy Recharge
- Effect: A part of the "Millennial Movement" that wanders amidst the winds. Increases Elemental Mastery by 60. When the Elemental Skills or Elemental Bursts of the character wielding this weapon hit opponents, that character gains a Sigil of Remembrance. This effect can be triggered once every 0.2s and can be triggered even if said character is not on the field. When you possess 4 Sigils of Remembrance, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the Millennial Movement Farewell Song effect for 12s. Millennial Movement Farewell Song increases Elemental Mastery by 100 and increases ATK by 20%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Remembrance for 20s. Of the many effects of the "Millennial Movement," buffs of the same type will not stack.
After unlocking Faruzan’s first Constellation in Genshin Impact, Elegy for the End will easily be her best weapon. Players can easily gain four stacks of Elegy by casting Faruzan’s Skill, shooting both of her Charged Arrows, then casting her ultimate. This will grant the entire team 100 Elemental Mastery and 20% ATK.
