A Genshin Impact player has created an impressive Liyue-themed outfit for the Pyro bow user Amber. The game's community is known for creating various types of fan-made content, including new skins, characters, and weapons. Amber is one of the earliest characters that Travelers encounter at the start of their journey through the world of Teyvat.

As one of the few remaining Outriders of Mondstadt's Knights of Favonious, Amber takes her job very seriously. She played a very important role in Genshin Impact's storyline by teaching the Traveler how to use a glider. After all, she's known as the three-time winner of the Gliding Championship held in the City of Mondstadt.

A new post by Reddit user vlilacc reveals how Amber would look like if she belonged to the Liyue region. This concept named "2023 Liyue Outrider" attracted a lot of attention in the community as the post reached over 1.4k upvotes. Many fans claim that this outfit also fits Amber's storyline since her character bio revealed that her grandfather came from Liyue. This Pyro user belongs to the group of characters that are given for free at the start of each playthrough. While Amber is a fan-favorite character in the community, many players avoid using her in their team composition. One of the main reasons is the fact that it's almost impossible to gather all of her constellation levels since she cannot be a part of Genshin Impact's Limited Character Banner.

Genshin Impact's Four-star characters are usually weaker than five-stars, but their disadvantages are compensated by the fact that it's usually much easier to acquire their constellation levels thanks to a 10-wish pity system which guarantees a drop within 10 wishes. However, the only way to get Amber is by wishing on the less popular Standard Banner which features tons of different characters.

HoYoverse announced that the Standard Banner will receive another five-star character after 3.5 ends. Fans hope that HoYoverse could feature Amber on a limited banner in the future alongside the two other free-to-play characters, Keaya and Lisa. Some comments claim that adding a free skin for Amber would be a great idea since every player that managed to get through the first couple of quests has this character in their roster.

Giving a free Liyue-themed skin could be a part of an upcoming update that should introduce a new part of the Geo region. Travelers expect the new Liyue expansion to arrive on the western part of the map.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
