Some fans focus on creating powerful team compositions, while others prioritize gathering the cutest characters Genshin Impact has to offer--and some fans even create intricate cosplay tributes to their favorite characters.
One Twitter user, amino1229, has pieced together an explosively adorable cosplay of Klee the slightly unstable bomb fiend of the Knights of Favonius. Klee is well known by fans of the game for being enthralled by explosions and using her homemade bombs to go bomb fishing, and this cosplayer has captured her love for explosives as well as her cuteness.
The cosplayer has shared a short, 9-second-long video focused on showing off her adorable Klee cosplay in Klee's natural environment, surrounded by explosions. Klee is technically a mage, but in practice, she uses her magic to create bombs. In fact, almost everything Klee owns in the game is a bomb, and while no actual bombs are shown in this clip, the cosplayer is depicted hopping around with glee as an explosion goes off in the background. The quality of the video suggests that the explosion was not edited in and amino1229 was actually jumping around in front of what might be a small firework.
Although the video is short, it does a good job of showing off amino1229's carefully crafted Klee cosplay which includes a bright red hat, a red minidress with white trim, tall brown boots, little white shorts, and brown gloves. She does not appear to have any of Klee's Pyro bombs on her, though given the explosion in the background, she may be cosplaying a Klee who's already used her bomb supply. Her grasp of Klee's childish body language is shown through her happy jump as the explosion goes off, the way she holds her arms out to balance as the fire fades, and finally in the way she hops before trotting out of view of the camera.
As of this writing, the video appears to have been warmly received by Genshin Impact fans. This isn't the first time a Genshin Impact cosplayer has gone above and beyond to try and capture their character's personality, though adding pyrotechnics certainly makes this video memorable. Several users have already responded with reaction shots from various anime or by taking screenshots of the video and turning them into reaction shots. The result could be perceived as cute and unsettling, just like Klee herself.
