From the same leaker who revealed Genshin Impact's upcoming five-star to begin with, an idle animation for Eula has also been posted online. This could possibly mean she'll release in the next few weeks, or even with Version 1.5.

Zeniet was one of the handful of well-known Genshin Impact leakers that revealed Eula for the first time earlier this month. If all of the information checks out, Eula will be a Cryo five-star who wields a claymore, and she'll be the first character to combine both of those elements. Also known as the Spindrift Knight in Genshin Impact lore, Eula is another Captain of the Knights of Favonius alongside Kaeya and Albedo. According to Zeniet, Eula and another leaked character named Yanfei will be introduced in the Version 1.5 update, which should land in late April.

Now, Zeniet has also revealed both of Eula's idle animations, which feature much less movement than other Genshin Impact characters. Eula seems to have a calm exterior, often moving with grace and finesse. Even though it's only been just more than a week since Eula's first leak, she's quickly captured the eyes of fans.

Previously, Zeniet also revealed both Eula and Yanfei's attack animations. These attack animations, unfortunately, don't include Elemental Skills and Bursts, but they certainly do looks impressive and show off Eula's poised skill as a swordsman.

Based on the leaked footage, it seems very likely that Eula will release as soon as Version 1.5. Following past Genshin Impact leak patterns, such as with Hu Tao's many leaks ahead of her full release, the footage of attacks and idle animations begins surfacing when the characters are being finalized in closed beta with Genshin Impact players. So according to the latest rumors, players can expect Eula and Zhongli to see banners during 1.5's lifespan, unless miHoYo makes a change to the roadmap.

However, it looks like miHoYo intends to crack down on leakers even harder going forward. Zeniet recently also leaked plans for Version 1.5 including a brand-new home customization feature. MiHoYo released a statement in response, explaining that this disrupts development and can mislead fans about the content within updates. Now, prominent leakers such as NEP NEP have once again disappeared from Twitter.

While some fans feel the leaks give them an idea of how to spend their money on Genshin Impact banners in the future, others feel that this ruins surprises. Some fans believe Eula was meant to be a surprise. But, at least for the time being, surprises are nearly impossible for Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact is out now for mobile, PC, and PS4, and is in development for PS5 and Switch.
