Genshin Impact's 1.6 update has arrived, and it adds a variety of new content to this extremely-popular action RPG. Among this new content is an event called Echoing Tales, which centers around collecting a total of 32 Echoing Conches. Five of these shells were added to the game on the first day of Genshin Impact's Echoing Tales event, and this guide will help players track down every one of them.

To note, fans must unlock the Midsummer Islands in Genshin Impact before they will be able to participate in this ongoing event. For full clarity, that is done by reaching Adventure Rank 21 and completing both Archon Quest: Song of The Dragon and Freedom and Trifolium Chapter: Act I "True Treasure." With those prerequisites established, here are details on exactly where to find the five Echoing Conches that are featured in Day 1 of Echoing Tales:

Genshin Impact: Echoing Conch Locations (Day 1)

  1. 1-3 Twinning Isle: At the southeast corner of the southern island, amidst some fallen wooden beams.
  2. 1-4 Twinning Isle: On the east side of the northern island. Genshin Impact players should start at the Teleport Waypoint and drop down the cliffside to the east.
  3. 4-1 Pudding Isle: Starting at the Teleport Waypoint, fans should jump down to the southwest island. The Echoing Conch is sitting atop a rock.
  4. 7-6 Pudding Isle: Next to some small wooden crates just northeast of the Teleport Waypoint.
  5. 7-7 Broken Isle: At the north end of the northern-most island. Players must drop down one level near some roots that are against the cliffside.

For those players that want to confirm that they have indeed picked up all five of these Echoing Conches, the Echoing Tales event menu provides a running count of exactly how many of the shells have been collected. Additionally, fans can revisit each Conch Retrospections from this menu, by pressing the input that appears next to "Conch Retrospection," if they wish to, and they can view all of the rewards associated with this new Genshin Impact event there as well.

With respect to those rewards, the Barbara Summertime Sparkle outfit may be of the most interest, and it is unlocked after collecting 24 shells. Players will also earn Mora, Primogems, Hero's Wits, Talent Level Up Materials, and Mystic Enchantment Ores by participating in this event. All of this together means that there is a quite a bit of incentive for hunting down Echoing Conches, and many fans will undoubtedly want to find all 32 of them.

Genshin Impact is available now for Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version also in development.
