Genshin Impact players who have done the most recent Archon Quest would be familiar with Dori the shady merchant. This is because, in the Genshin Impact 3.0 Archon Quest, players will get involved in her illegal transaction.
In the second half of Genshin Impact 3.0, Dori is released along with Ganyu and Kokomi rerun. As previously teased in the live stream, the merchant is a healer that can provide a degree of Electro application. However, although she’s a healer, the best Dori builds in Genshin Impact can be pretty complicated, where players have to choose one focus they want for their Dori.
Best Dori Build - Healer Focus
Dori provides healing via her Elemental Burst, so naturally, healer-focus is one of the most sensible options for Dori.
Dori Best Artifacts - Healer Build
Artifact Main Stats
- Timepiece: HP
- Goblet: HP
- Circlet: Healing Bonus
Artifact Sets
- 4pc Ocean-Hued Clam
- 4pc Maiden Beloved
- 2pc Tenacity of the Millelith, Maiden Beloved, or Ocean-Hued Clam
Dori heals every 2s via her ultimate. There are a total of six ticks in the duration, and on a full healer build, players can have around 10k healing every tick (60k HP healing total).
As 60k HP recovery is quite a lot, instead of going full healing using 4pc Maiden Beloved, opting for 4pc Ocean-Hued Clam can be a better option in Genshin Impact. Players won’t hurt Dori’s healing that much, and in exchange, she will deal a little more damage.
Dori Best Weapons - Healer Build
- The Bell
- R5 Ferrous Shadow
- Skyward Pride
- Katsuragikiri Nagamasa
Finally, The Bell is now viable. Although Dori won’t really benefit from its passive, The Bell’s HP sub-stat can help amplify her healing. The same can be said about the 3-star Genshin Impact weapon, Ferrous Shadow.
Meanwhile, both Skyward Pride and Katsuragikiri Nagamasa don’t provide HP, but instead, the weapons help Dori regain her Burst quicker by enhancing her Energy Recharge stat.
Best Dori Build - Support Focus
Support Dori focuses more on team buff and enemy debuff. This is a great option if players don’t need too much healing from Dori.
Dori Best Artifacts - Support Build
Artifact Main Stats
- Timepiece: Energy Recharge or HP
- Goblet: HP
- Circlet: Healing Bonus
Artifact Sets
- 4pc Noblesse Oblige
- 4pc Deepwood Memories
- 4pc Instructor
For the artifact sets, players should:
- Use Noblesse Oblige if the DPS requires ATK stat
- Use Deepwood Memories if the DPS is a Dendro character
- Use Instructor if the team focuses on Elemental Reactions
Dori Best Weapons - Support Build
- Wolf's Gravestone
- Forest Regalia
- Favonius Greatsword
The best weapons for a support Dori are those that increase the team’s overall performance. Wolf’s Gravestone can buff the team’s ATK, Forest Regalia enhances Elemental Mastery, while Favonius Greatsword can help the party’s Energy recovery.
Best Dori Build - Aggravate Focus
Aggravate is a Dendro Elemental reaction in Genshin Impact that enhances Electro attacks by providing a flat DMG buff. This is a great option if players want to increase the team’s DPS in a Dendro team comp.
Note that this build is best used if Dori is on a high Constellation level. Without her Genshin Impact Constellations, Dori’s Aggravate build isn’t very worth it. This is because Dori barely triggers Aggravate at C0, where she triggers the reaction:
- Once via her Elemental Skill (Assuming the enemy is already Quickened)
- Three times from her Elemental Burst.
Meanwhile, at C6, the Aggravate Dori does, is amplified to:
- Twice on Elemental Skill
- Twice on Normal Attack after casting Elemental Skill
- Three times from Elemental Burst
- Three times from Jinni Toop’s from Elemental Burst
Dori Best Artifacts - Aggravate Build
Artifact Main Stats
- Timepiece: Elemental Mastery
- Goblet: Electro DMG Bonus
- Circlet: Critical Rate or DMG
Artifact Sets
- 4pc Gilded Dreams
- 4pc Thundersoother
- 4pc Emblem of Severed Fate
- 4pc Thundering Fury
Dori Best Weapons - Aggravate Build
- Redhorn Stonethresher
- Rainslasher
- R5 Bloodtainted Greatsword
- Serpent Spine
Since Aggravate is affected by Critical Damage and Elemental Mastery, weapons that can provide these stats are excellent for Dori builds that focus on Aggravate.
Redhorn Stonethresher grants a massive Critical DMG stat, Rainslasher is great for both its Elemental Mastery sub-stat and a passive that amplifies Dori’s damage if the enemies are affected by Electro. Bloodtainted Greatsword is a 3-star Genshin Impact Claymore that provides Elemental Mastery and also has a similar passive to Rainslasher. Lastly, Serpent Spine is great for its Critical Rate stat. Sadly, though, Dori won’t get to benefit much from Serpent Spine’s passive.
Best Dori Build - Hyperbloom Or Electro-Charged Focus
The last focus for the best Dori build in Genshin Impact is transformative reaction-focus. This can be either Hyperbloom, Electro-Charged, or Overloaded.
Dori Best Artifacts - Hyperbloom Or Electro-Charged Build
Artifact Main Stats
- Timepiece: Elemental Mastery
- Goblet: Elemental Mastery
- Circlet: Elemental Mastery
Artifact Sets
- 4pc Gilded Dreams
- 2pc Wanderer’s Troupe + 2pc Gilded Dreams
- 4pc Thundering Fury
Dori Best Weapons - Hyperbloom Or Electro-Charged Build
- Rainslasher
- R5 Bloodtainted Greatsword
- Forest Regalia
Since transformative reactions solely rely on Dori’s level and Elemental Mastery, her best Claymores consist of those that provide Elemental Mastery stat. Players can either use Rainslasher, Bloodtainted Greatsword, or the new forgeable weapon of Genshin Impact Sumeru, Forest Regalia.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
