A Genshin Impact player has shared an expected scene they found below the Grand Narukami Shrine. This shrine is located at the peak of Mt. Yougou on Narukami Island, which is one of the many islands that make up the Inazuma region.

The Grand Narukami Shrine is also a religious organization that worships the Electro Archon who serves as the main ruler of Inazuma. According to Genshin Impact's official storyline, it was built around 500 years ago, before the infamous Archon War. The head of the Shrine is the popular Electro user Yae Miko, who plays an important role in the overall Inazuma Arc.

Reddit user redninjaNL has shared an interesting in-game screenshot showing two dead Hilichurls next to a waterfall that can be found below Mt. Yougou. Hilichurls are considered humanoid monsters that can be found all across the world of Teyvat which makes them probably the most popular common enemies in the game. The game's story has revealed that a lot of people tried to communicate with these unusual creatures but without any success. Even though most players have slain hundreds of Hilichurls through their journey, encountering a couple of their corpses seems unnatural since their bodies usually disappear after being defeated.

While some fans speculate that the Hilichurls could have fallen off Mt. Youguou, others have revealed that the reason why the player came across this unusual scene is that they unlocked Yae Miko's story quest but didn't complete it. The quest implies that the two Hilichurls were killed by a possessed NPC that can be found sitting in the same location once the is started.

Yae Miko is currently part of the ongoing double banner that also features the Hydro DPS character Tartaglia, better known as Childe. Yae is known as one of the best Electro users in Genshin Impact with the ability to dish out tons of damage without being on the field. Her elemental skill allows her to place up to three different totems that keep dealing Electro damage even when she gets swapped out.

The double banner features an interesting four-star lineup that includes three different characters: the Anemo user Heizou, the Pyro support Thoma, and the only new four-star character in the update named Layla. Players who want to get Yae Miko or Childe have a couple of more days to pull for them as their banner is expected to expire on December 6.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
