Genshin Impact keeps introducing new types of enemies with every other update. For example, Genshin Impact Version 2.6 has added a brand-new monster named the Ruin Serpent which can be found in the Chasm.

While each of the new opponents seems stronger than the previous one, players often struggle against some of the first enemy types like the infamous Abyss mages. A new post on the Genshin Impact subreddit shows a hilarious video featuring one of the most popular characters fighting a large group of enemies.

Reddit user rivaldirukmana has shared video showing Monstadt's hero Diluc fighting 50 Abyss mages on the popular bridge outside the city of Mondstadt. It's impossible to gather this number of enemies in one area which means that this was probably done in the game's beta version which allows players to spawn enemies. The video is divided into two parts and the first part shows Diluc activating his Elemental Burst, Dawn, and killing a large group of Hydro Abyss mages. However, the second part shows a scenario that would probably happen most of the time when fighting Hydro Abyss mages who have the ability to trap a character into a bubble.

Players claim that Diluc has to be over-leveled in this scenario considering that he manages to break through the Hydro shields which usually have strong resistance against the Pyro element. The whole video is quite symbolic considering that in one of the early quests, Diluc is portrayed as the mysterious Darknight Hero who secretly fights to save the city of Mondstadt from the Abyss Order. While fans absolutely loved the video, multiple replies in the comment section claim that they want HoYoverse to make Diluc's power equal to the one presented in the lore.

Diluc is a five-star Pyro character who used to be one of, if not the best DPS units in Genshin Impact back in 2020. However, since then the meta has shifted, and he is now considered a decent DPS or sub-DPS choice for certain team compositions. Diluc is obtainable on the Standard Banner which means that it's much harder to build up his constellation levels as compared to other limited five-star characters.

With the release of newer and stronger characters, players have proposed an interesting concept that would make improve the popularity of this banner. The concept includes reducing the 90-wish guarantee to at least 50 wishes and increase the number of Acquaint Fates that are handed out for free. This would allow players to build up constellation for their Standard Banner characters much faster.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
