Though they may not seem like it, Dandelion Seeds are a very important resource to have in Genshin Impact. Despite their importance and use in many recipes and commissions, the game doesn't explain how players can get these items or where to find them. Luckily, there are a few easy farming spots where players can get a ton of Dandelion Seeds.
Dandelion Seeds have a lot of uses in Genshin Impact, but players will first need to find and collect them. They can be found in set areas where they are guaranteed to spawn every 48 hours.
Updated on July 6, 2023, by Nahda Nabiilah: Although multiple new regions have been introduced, Mondstadt remains the provider of Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact. As of version 3.8, only Jean and Eula require the local specialty for ascension. Getting Dandelion Seeds is by no means difficult, but players simply need to know where to look and how to harvest them. Other than the normal method of gathering Dandelion Seeds, it’s possible to purchase the local specialty from Babak for 1,000 Mora and Karpillia for a whopping 60,000 Mora.
Dandelion Seed Locations In Genshin Impact
In total, there are 43 Dandelion Seeds in Genshin Impact, not including random merchants who sell the local specialty. After finding a Dandelion, players will need to hit it with Anemo. It’s possible to use the Traveler to obtain the Seeds or other Anemo characters in Genshin Impact like Jean, Venti, and Heizou. Dandelions can be found most prominently in the regions around Mondstadt, such as:
- Outside the City’s gate
- Starfell Lake and Stormbearer Mountains
- Starsnatch Cliff and South of Thousand Winds Temple
- Windrise
- Dadaupa Gorge and Cape Oath
- Springvale and Wolvendom
Outside The City’s Gate
The best and easiest place to find them is actually right outside the city's gates, where nine Seeds will spawn after 48 hours.
Starfell Lake And Stormbearer Mountains
Around five Dandelion Seeds are gathered from the area between Starfell Lake and Stormbearer Mountains. Also, desperate Travelers may head north of Stormbearer Point to collect one more Seed.
Starsnatch Cliff And South Of Thousand Winds Temple
Six Dandelion Seeds are collected from Starsnatch Cliff and south of Thousand Winds Temple.
Windrise
Players may want to search the nearby Temple of the Falcon right outside Mondstadt City. Some Anemo Slimes will spawn if players get close, but it is another reliable source of Dandelion Seeds. Additionally, three Dandelion Seed are available south of Windrise Statue of the Seven in Genshin Impact.
Dadaupa Gorge And Cape Oath
A total of eight Seeds are found by exploring Dadaupa Gorge and Cape Oath in Genshin Impact.
Springvale and Wolvendom
Finally, on the portion of land around Springvale and Wolvendom, players can find more Dandelion Seeds growing.
