A new Genshin Impact chart shows the first-day banner revenue for the ongoing double banner that features Cyno and Venti. Each update is usually divided into two separate parts which include a different set of characters and weapons.

Reddit user TimocaSamJa has shared an interesting chart showing how well the current double banner has done on its first day. According to the chart, Cyno and Venti have taken the fifth spot in Genshin Impact's all-time first-day banner revenue list.

The banner apparently made around $4,235,994 on its first day, but it should be noted that the data represented in the chart was taken from iOS devices on the Chinese server. A number of comments have stated that the banner would potentially break the revenue record if HoYoverse didn't put another very popular character named Nilou on the second phase which caused many players to save their Primogems and skip Cyno and Venti. The main reason behind the banner's success is probably the fact that Cyno is a new Genshin Impact character who has been one of the main topics in the community over the past couple of months.

Cyno is a new Electro polearm character with very strong DPS capabilities. His playstyle is very reminiscent of the four-star Electro character named Razor as they share a very similar Elemental Burst. Cyno's Wolf's Swiftness allows him to call upon a divine spirit that can turn him into a damage powerhouse. His burst can stay active up to 18 seconds which makes it one of the strongest skills in the game, however, it will get canceled if Cyno leaves the field.

Having such a large DPS window requires players to surround Cyno with strong support characters that can protect him from interruptions. The best support choice is probably Zhongli as his elemental skill provides one of the strongest shields in Genshin Impact. Even though it's safe to say that Cyno carried the success of this double banner, a number of players in the comment section claim that they actually pulled for Venti.

The Anemo Archon has made multiple banner appearances since his introduction back in 2020. However, despite being one of the oldest characters in the game, Venti is still considered one of the best supports in Genshin Impact due to his ability to group a large group of enemies with his Elemental Burst.

Genshin Impact is now available on mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
