Genshin Impact keeps expanding their playable roster with almost every new update. For example, the ongoing Genshin Impact Version 2.8 has introduced a new Anemo character by the name Shikanoin Heizou.

The game has an anime-inspired art style which often leads fans to try and replicate its characters and put them into different environments. A new fan-made concept posted on the game's subreddit manages to combine Genshin Impact and Pokemon into one piece of art.

Reddit user JhayAlejo has revealed an impressive fan-art that turns some of Genshin Impact characters into Pokemon. The Redditor is known in the community for creating similar artworks which always manage to gather a lot of attention. Players are absolutely in love with the new set of Genshin Impact Pokemon as the post reached over 2k upvotes. The first concept shows the two evolutions for a Pokemon based on the recently released five-star character named Yelan, who joined the playable roster on the first part of Genshin Impact update 2.7. Numerous fans claim that if it wasn't for Yelan's dice, they would've never managed to guess the character behind the design. Making the two Pokemon ghost-type and water-type makes sense since Yelan is a hydro user and her elemental skill allows her to disappear. The second concept also features two Pokemon, Ninjel and Wipotachi, and they represent the famous four-star character Kuki Shinobu. The Pokemon design embraces Kuki's ninja theme, and it includes her signature green/purple color palette. Kuki Shinobu was released on the second banner of update 2.7, and she is a very strong Genshin Impact support.

Fisticalf and Cervestigale are the two Pokemon shown in the third art and they are based on the most recent Genshin Impact character, Shikanoin Heizou. A couple of comments say that they love how JhayAlejo managed to catch the essence of Heizou's design and turn it into a Pokemon. Despite being a Catalyst user, Heizou is actually a close combat character which is probably the main reason why both Fisticalf and Cervestigale are fighting-type Pokemon. Heizou can be recognized by the unique symbol on Cervestigale's chest.

While all three concepts were well-received in the community, it's safe to say that the last one is certainly a fan-favorite as it includes a three-stage evolution Pokemon. The evolution tells a story of how Rosaylne went from being one of the strongest Harbingers to becoming the Crimson Witch of Flames.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
