As a trading card game, it's natural for Genshin Impact Genius Invokation TCG to have a feature where players get to make their own deck with their own favorite characters. Of course, some collecting is required to compose the perfect deck filled with all the right cards. Players may also have to battle against NPCs or even finish some of their TCH handbook missions to increase their collection.
If players wish to build their Genius Invokation TCG deck in Genshin Impact and change their active deck, they can do so by following these steps.
How To Build Deck In Genshin Impact TCG
After players unlock the Genius Invokation TCG in Genshin Impact, they will gain a gadget called Casket of Tomes. The item can be accessed via the backpack in the gadget section.
Select the Genshin Impact gadget and use it to enter the deck setup page. Here, players will see all the decks they have previously made, and they can do things like edit, delete, copy, or set the deck as the active deck.
To build a deck in Genshin Impact TCG, players have to:
- Pick a slot to use.
- Choose three characters to be in the deck.
- Choose a total of 30 cards and not more and not less.
It’s important that a deck includes a variety of cards to support the Genshin Impact characters. First, there should be characters’ Talent cards in the deck as they can enhance the character’s movesets, making them more powerful and useful.
After that, pay attention to the following cards:
- Equipment cards: Include artifacts and Genshin Impact weapons. One character can only wield one of each piece of equipment.
- Support cards: Support cards will be added to the left side of the field, with no more than four cards can be active at once
- Event cards: Event cards, including the Genshin Impact Elemental Resonance card, will take effect instantly, and will not take any slot on the left or right side of the field.
How To Change Active Deck In Genshin Impact TCG
There are various ways for players to change the active deck in Genshin Impact TCG. The first method is to open the deck and press on the three dots in the top right corner of the deck selection.
After pressing the dots, there will be options to edit, delete, rename, or change the active deck. If players change the active deck using this method, it will automatically be used for future duels.
Alternatively, Travelers can also change the active deck before they start a duel. For this, they can either press on the deck's name under "Your Active Deck" before the match starts, or choose "Adjust the deck first…" If it's an invitation match.
