One of the most significant obstacles to character progression in the higher adventure ranks of Genshin Impact is currency, or more specifically, the lack of it. As the player progresses through the game, the cost associated with leveling up multiple characters, talents, weapons and artifacts continues to increase, making money management an important skill to master.
While the majority of quests and activities in Genshin Impact reward the player with mora (the game's currency), the most efficient way to obtain the currency when strapped for cash is through farming the Blossoms of Wealth.
The Blossoms of Wealth are obtained after the player completes the Ley Line Outcrop event, which will begin to appear on the map after reaching adventure rank 12. To avoid confusion for new players, there are two variations of Line Outcrop events that will appear on the map.
Blue Ley Line Outcrops called Blossoms of Revelation reward players with items that increase their party member's level, while the Yellow Ley Lines called Blossoms of Wealth reward players with mora. When examining the map, players should also notice that there is one of each Ley Line Outcrop per nation, with one located in Mondstadt and one in Liyue.
To begin the event, simply travel to the Ley Line location and interact with the yellow cloud. After interacting with the Ley Line, a set number of enemies will appear that the player must defeat before being able to claim their reward.
The enemies that spawn from the Ley Line are determined by the location of the event. For example, if the player is in an area populated by Hillichurls, there is a good chance that the event will spawn Hillichurls. Additionally, the strength of the enemies spawned is determined by the player's World Level.
After defeating all the required enemies, the Blossom of Wealth will sprout out of the ground for the player to claim their reward. However, in order to open the Blossoms, players are required to pay 20 original resin or 1 condensed resin.
Once the Blossom has been opened, the player will receive a significant amount of Mora, Adventure Rank and Friendship xp. It is important to note that if the player does not possess the original or condensed resin to open the blossom, it will remain unopened until the daily reset.
Additionally, players should capitalize on the current "Stellar Reunion" event, which doubles the amount of mora gained from each Blossom of Wealth up to three times a day.
Genshin Impact is available on mobile devices, PC, and PS4 with a Switch version in development.
