As a dedicated healer in Genshin Impact, Barbara may have limited options of weapons in the game. Apart from increasing the stat she needs to maximize her recovery effect, players can also focus on her Energy regeneration and supportive potential. The best thing about this Sister is that she can perform nicely even with random equipment, so players don't have to worry too much about her. Furthermore, Barbara's weapons are also mostly F2P friendly.

For Barbara in Genshin Impact, here are the best Catalysts she can wield to perform her best as the team's healer.

The Best Weapon For Barbara In Genshin Impact

Since Barbara can only operate as a healer in her team compositions, it is essential to give her a weapon that boosts the stats that can help her heal more, such as HP, Energy Recharge, and Healing Bonus.

Everlasting Moonglow

moonglow in genshin impact
  • Primary Stat: 608 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 49.6% HP
  • R1 Effect: Healing Bonus increased by 10%, Normal Attack DMG is increased by 1% of the Max HP of the character equipping this weapon. For 12s after using an Elemental Burst, Normal Attacks that hit opponents will restore 0.6 Energy. Energy can be restored this way once every 0.1s.

Everlasting Moonglow is a Catalyst made for healers in Genshin Impact, so it’s certainly the best weapon for Barbara. Barbara’s healing scales with her HP and the weapon further increases it by almost 50% plus an extra 10% Healing Bonus. In addition to all that, players can use its passive effect after using Barbara’s Burst to regain some of her lost energy for a faster Burst rotation.

Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers

  • Primary Stat: 401 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 35.2% HP
  • R5 Effect: When switching characters, the new character taking the field has their ATK increased by 48% for 10s. This effect can only occur once every 20s.

Just like Everlasting Moonglow, Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers increases Barbara’s HP, which will increase her healing. Its passive effect grants the next character a whopping 48% extra ATK for 10 seconds. It can be incredibly helpful to have that kind of weapon passive on Barbara since she takes seconds of field time to restore HP.

Prototype Amber

  • Primary Stat: 510 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 41.3% HP
  • R5 Effect: Using an Elemental Burst regenerates 6 Energy every 2s for 6s. All party members will regenerate 6% HP every 2s for this duration.

Although it's one of Genshin Impact's forgeable weapons, Prototype Amber is a superb weapon for Barbara. It helps fulfill her supportive role as a healer by giving her the HP she needs, regenerating her Energy after using her Burst, and granting the entire party further minor healing above what she offers with her abilities.

Hakushin Ring

  • Primary Stat: 565 Base ATK
  • Secondary Stat: 30.6% Energy Recharge
  • R5 Effect: After the character equipped with this weapon triggers an Electro elemental reaction, nearby party members of an Elemental Type involved in the elemental reaction receive a 20% Elemental DMG Bonus for their element, lasting 6s. Elemental Bonuses gained in this way cannot be stacked.

Hakushin Ring is not the best weapon for Barbara, but it offers a buff that can be helpful in certain situations. This weapon is only useful if Barbara is a healer in a party with an Electro DPS, and it is easy to trigger Hakushin Ring’s passive effect. All players need is to apply Electro with the DPS, then switch to Barbara and trigger Electro-charged, and the Electro DPS will gain 20% extra Electro DMG. It takes mere seconds to do so, and it’s worth exploring.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
