Other than Kaedehara Kazuha’s combat kit, it’s really fun to roam around the world map with him. Especially when using his Elemental Skill, Chihayaburu. Here are some things players can do when they use Kaedehara Kazuha in Genshin Impact.
9 Jumping Dodge
Kazuha’s Elemental Skill creates a wind current that pulls Kazuha above his enemies. When being attacked, Kazuha can use his Skill to levitate and dodge his enemies’ attacks. This gives him more options than just dashing left or right.
To perfect this dodge, players must time it precisely since Kazuha is not invincible while performing Chihayaburu. When it’s done right, Kazuha can even counterattack his enemies by Plunging down to deal Anemo damage.
8 Wind Collector
In addition to dodging enemies, Kazuha’s Elemental Skill has a strong crowd control ability. It can pull enemies and collect them under Kazuha before he unleashes his devastating Plunging attack.
Chihayaburu can also pull objects from the world map, like dropped artifacts and weapons. It can also do the same to other characters’ dolls and pets. For example, Amber’s Baron Bunny, Xiangling’s Guoba, Sayu’s Muji-Muji Daruma, Klee’s Jumpy Dumpty, and the mines it creates after.
7 Double Jump
Kazuha can double jump when using his Elemental skill. The Wandering Samurai greatly benefits from this ability. For instance, when climbing a mountain, players can jump off the mountain and quickly use Chihayaburu. It will regain a small portion of stamina and allow Kazuha to ascend a little bit higher.
Then, players have to fly back to the mountain and can keep using that trick each time Kazuha's Skill cooldown is over. Players can also use this move while flying as it will allow Kazuha to stay in the air much longer than other characters.
6 Double Strike
If players are using Kazuha as their main DPS, then they should be aware that his fifth hit will knock back the enemies. Instead of instantly using Chihayaburu, Kazuha should wait until this fifth hit lands.
After the target is knocked back, players can use Kazuha's hold Skill and collect the enemies back under him. Then, Kazuha can use a Plunge attack and collect the enemies again to eat another sequence of his Normal attacks.
5 Viridescent Venerer
Choosing the right set of artifacts for Kazuha can help him and his team. Kazuha’s Anemo Element and his strong ability to control enemies make Viridescent Venerer the easiest decision players should take when building him. Viridescent Venerer will increase Kazuha's Swirl damage and reduce enemies’ resistance to the Elements reacted with his Swirl.
4 Elemental Supremacy
As an Anemo user, Kazuha can trigger most Elemental Reactions. For example, when the enemies are affected by Electro and Cryo, his Swirl will cause the Elements to move from one target to another, triggering Superconduct all over the field.
Having said that, it is essential to choose Kazuha’s team. For example, having Pyro and Cryo characters with Kazuha will make his Swirl trigger Melt reactions. Having Pyro and Hydro will cause his Swirl to trigger Vaporize reactions. Finally, if Kazuha is built with 4-Viridescent Venerer, he will reduce the enemies’ resistance and further amplify those reactions’ damage.
3 Elemental Priority
When Kazuha uses his Elemental Skill or Burst, there's a couple of things players should keep in mind. Kazuha's Skill and Burst will absorb one element to trigger a Swirl – Anemo can absorb Hydro, Cryo, Electro, and Pyro.
Best Element For Kazuha's Elemental Skill
For his Elemental Skill, the absorbed Element should match the main DPS's Element. For example, if the main DPS is a Pyro character, then it's best if Kazuha's Elemental Skill is Swirl Pyro. This is because Kazuha will grant an Elemental damage Bonus according to the Element he Swirled.
Best Element For Kazuha's Elemental Burst
However, for his Elemental Burst, the absorbed Element should react with the main DPS. For example, if the main DPS is a Pyro character, then the absorbed Element should be Cryo. This way, players can continuously deal Melt with their Pyro DPS.
2 Damage Buffer
Since Kaedehara Kazuha excessively counts on his Swirl, he will keep buffing his team's Elemental damage by the Element his Swirl absorbed. The team’s buff scales with Kazuha's Elemental Mastery. Additionally, his Swirl damage also scales with his Elemental Mastery. In conclusion, stack as much Elemental Mastery on Kazuha as possible to boost the entire team’s damage.
1 Team Battery
