Back to All Characters

It's been a while since Eula's banner expired in Genshin Impact, yet new world records are still coming in. The latest right now is a whopping six million points of Physical damage. That makes Eula the most powerful damage dealer in Genshin Impact in a certain category. What's even more astounding is that it's surprisingly easy to make her deal tons of damage.

All she needs is a certain elemental reaction and some support characters that shred enemy resistance. Granted, most players likely won't reach the dizzying heights of that aforementioned world record. They can, however, make Eula consistently deal six-digit damage numbers. To reach those, figures, here are some optimal Eula teams.

Updated on July 14, 2023, by Nahda Nabiilah: Like any other DPS, Eula’s kit and damage are directly connected to the Genshin Impact’s meta. Thanks to the constant update and additional characters, Eula now has new pairings that she works brilliantly with. As an example, Huffman's brother, Mika, is the perfect support for Physical DPS. For that, this list will be updated to include all the new team compositions for Eula in Genshin Impact.

17 Eula - Beidou - Bennett - Diona

Eula - Beidou - Bennett - Diona

This team functions similarly to traditional Superconduct Eula teams involving an Electro DPS backup, buffers, and healers. In this case, there are two healers. The reason Diona is there instead of Zhongli is to capitalize on Cryo Resonance. The gameplay for this team is also straightforward.

How To Use It

  1. Activate Diona's Elemental Skill (hold variant).
  2. Lay down Bennett's Elemental Burst.
  3. Use Beidou's Elemental Burst.
  4. Use Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant).
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  7. Beidou can act as a backup DPS if Eula's Burst isn't ready yet.
  8. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

16 Eula - Raiden Shogun - Rosaria (C6) - Zhongli

Eula - Raiden Shogun - Rosaria (C6) - Zhongli

Yet another Superconduct team, this one's a little more expensive, but is very much worth it since Raiden Shogun ensures that Eula's Elemental Burst is ready after cooldown. No healers are present here, but Zhongli ensures everyone stays alive. Rosaria at C6 also lets her Elemental Burst decrease an opponent's Physical resistance by 20 percent, which is quite big.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Overloaded Team

How To Use It

  1. Activate Zhongli's Elemental Skill (hold variant).
  2. Use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Skill.
  3. Lay Down Rosaria's Elemental Burst.
  4. Use Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant).
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  7. If there are still enemies but Eula's Burst is on cooldown, use Zhongli's Elemental Burst.
  8. Now, if there are still enemies and Eula's Burst is still on cooldown, use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst & attack with her.
  9. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

15 Eula - Raiden Shogun - Yun Jin (C6) - Zhongli

Eula - Raiden Shogun - Yunjin (C6) - Albedo

Here's an alternative for those who want a bit of everything minus the healing. Yun Jin at C6 has an Elemental Burst that boosts Normal Attack speed. This allows Eula to squeeze in more attacks and power up her Elemental Burst before it explodes.

How To Use It

  1. Activate Zhongli's Elemental Skill (hold variant).
  2. Use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Skill.
  3. Use Yun Jin's Elemental Burst.
  4. With the tap variant, use Eula's Elemental Skill.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks. Yun Jin's C6 Burst will also allow in more attacks before the Lightfall Sword explodes, so make sure to cancel Eula's fifth attack animation. Attack again four times; her first four attacks have faster animation.
  7. If there are still enemies but Eula's Burst is on cooldown, use Zhongli's Elemental Burst.
  8. Now, if there are still enemies and Eula's Burst is still on cooldown, use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst & attack with her.
  9. Repeat step 1 once Eula's and Yun Jin's Elemental Bursts are ready.

14 Eula - Raiden Shogun - Yun Jin (C6) - Jean (C2)

Eula - Raiden Shogun - Yunjin (C6) - Jean (C2)

Now for even more attack speed and thus a stronger Eula Burst, players are going to need a C2 Jean. C2 Jean also provides an attack speed buff every time she catches an energy particle. Zhongli's shield gets sacrificed, but Jean has healing anyway, so it's all good.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Bloom Team

How To Use It

  1. Activate Raiden Shogun's Elemental Skill.
  2. Use Jean's Elemental Skill. Make sure she catches the particles before switching to activate her C2 buff.
  3. Use Yun Jin's Elemental Burst.
  4. With the tap variant, use Eula's Elemental Skill.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks. Jean's C2 and Yun Jin's C6 buff will also allow in more attacks before the Lightfall Sword explodes, so make sure to cancel Eula's fifth attack animation. Attack again four times; her first four attacks have faster animation.
  7. If anyone needs healing, use Jean's Elemental Burst.
  8. Now, if there are still enemies and Eula's Burst is still on cooldown, use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst & attack with her.
  9. Repeat step 1 once Eula's & Yun Jin's Elemental Bursts are ready.

13 Eula - Diona - Raiden Shogun - Kujou Sara

Eula - Diona - Raiden Shogun - Kujou Sara in Genshin Impact

One of the biggest problems with Eula's abilities is that her Elemental Burst costs a lot. Often, players will find themselves just waiting for it to fill up. Having Raiden Shogun on the team helps immensely with this. Not only that, but she also acts as a secondary DPS for when Eula's stubborn Elemental Burst takes too long to fill up. Meanwhile, Kujou Sara provides even more energy, and synergizes well with Raiden Shogun being a damage dealer.

How To Use It

  1. Use Diona's Elemental Skill (hold variant) to procure a shield.
  2. Use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Skill.
  3. Activate Kujou Sara's Elemental Burst.
  4. Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant) should be used next.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  7. Use Diona's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately so she catches the particles.
  8. If Eula's Burst isn't available yet, switch to Raiden Shogun and use her Elemental Burst.
  9. Keep attacking with Raiden Shogun until Eula's Burst is available.
  10. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

12 Eula - Raiden Shogun - Albedo - Fischl

Eula - Raiden Shogun - Albedo - Fischl

For something simpler (albeit less effective in the Spiral Abyss), this Eula team comp might be more preferable. It also features Raiden Shogun, but her utility here is the same as Albedo and Fischl: to provide some automatic supplemental attacks for Eula. If all goes well, then only Eula would be using her Elemental Burst. Lack of healing is notable but easily circumvented using NRE. Besides, Eula's a tough girl anyway.

How To Use It

  1. Place Albedo's Elemental Skill near enemies.
  2. Use Raiden Shogun's Elemental Skill.
  3. Use Fischl's Elemental Skill or Burst.
  4. Stay inside Albedo's Skill circle.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant).
  6. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  7. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  8. If enemies are still alive and Eula's Burst isn't available yet, then use Albedo's Elemental Burst.
  9. Use Fischl's Elemental Burst next (if applicable).
  10. Activate Raiden Shogun's Elemental Burst and keep attacking.
  11. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

11 Eula - Diona - Fischl - Zhongli

Eula - Diona - Fischl - Zhongli in genshin impact (1)

Maximizing Eula for damage can be an initially complex affair, but it all revolves around one thing: dealing hefty Physical damage. Players can do this either by buffing Eula up a lot or reducing the enemy's defenses. That's where the Superconduct (Cryo + Electro) elemental reaction comes in. It reduces enemy Physical resistance.

It just so happens that Fischl is one of the best at applying Electro to enemies. Eula's inherent Cryo abilities can trigger superconduct. Diona is there for healing or backup Cryo application, while Zhongli further reduces enemy defenses with his Jade Shield.

How To Use It

  1. Use Zhongli's Elemental Skill (hold variant) to procure a Jade Shield.
  2. Use Fischl's Elemental Skill.
  3. Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant) should be used next.
  4. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  5. Attack with Eula four times, and then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  6. Use Diona's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately, so she catches the particles.
  7. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

10 Eula - Diona - Albedo - Zhongli

Eula - Diona - Albedo - Zhongli in genshin impact (1)

For some players, it might be a bit tedious to keep applying Superconduct to enemies. Fischl's cooldowns can be long, after all. That's why some teams trade in the Prinzessin for the Kriedeprinz, Albedo. Albedo provides a juicy Geo resonance along with Zhongli.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Burgeon Team

Moreover, Albedo's Elemental Skill flowers add more damage and synergizes well with Zhongli's steles. This party holds up well against the Superconduct variant above, as the damage difference is negligible.

How To Use It

  1. Use Zhongli's Elemental Skill (hold variant) to procure a Jade Shield.
  2. Place Albedo's Elemental Skill near Zhongli's stele.
  3. Use Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant).
  4. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  5. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  6. Use Diona's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately, so she catches the particles.
  7. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

9 Eula - Rosaria - Bennett - Xinyan (C4)

Eula - Rosaria - Bennett - Xinyan (C4) in genshin impact (1)

For an even better dual resonance party that gives out tons of attacks and CRIT Rate, look no further than this team. Rosaria gives plenty of CRIT Rate to Eula; it's always useful for ensuring her Burst does max damage. The warrior nun also gives out elemental resonance and acts as a Cryo battery for Eula.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Mistakes Players Make When Using Tartaglia

Meanwhile, Bennett heals and buffs at the same time. Xinyan needs to be C4 here (otherwise, replace her) so that her shield will shred the enemy's Physical resistance.

How To Use It

  1. Use Xinyan's Elemental Skill for the shield.
  2. Use Bennett's Elemental Burst.
  3. Place Rosaria's Elemental Burst within Bennett's Burst Circle. Using this will help with the CRIT Rate.
  4. Use Eula's Elemental Skill (tap variant).
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  7. Use Rosaria's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately, so she catches the particles.
  8. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

8 Eula - Mona - Bennett - Xinyan (C4)

Eula - Mona - Bennett - Xinyan (C4) in genshin impact (1)

Looking for the team composition that dealt the current highest damage with Eula? This is the one. Mona's Elemental Burst grants an absurd amount of damage bonus. Meanwhile, Bennett and Xinyan's Pyro resonance, buffs, and Physical resistance shred all add up to that obscene damage.

All that's left is for Eula to destroy the survivors. The only problem here is that there's no Cryo battery for Eula, so players will have to make up for that by giving her Energy Recharge.

How To Use It

  1. Start off with Mona's Elemental Burst.
  2. Use Bennett's Elemental Burst.
  3. Use Xinyan's Elemental Skill.
  4. With the tap variant, use Eula's Elemental Skill.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  7. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

7 Eula - Fischl - Rosaria - Diona

Eula - Fischl - Rosaria - Diona in genshin impact (1)

Eula's biggest weakness is her energy problem, since her Burst costs a lot. In order to fix this, one extreme solution would be giving her this team. It has three Cryo characters, two of which are devoted to giving Eula as much energy as they can. Fischl also gives contributions to Eula's energy pool in her own way.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Hardest Bosses (& How To Beat Them)

Diona fills in many roles here, including shielder, healer, and Cryo battery. If players give her a 4-piece Noblesse Oblige, then she can also act as a buffer.

How To Use It

  1. Use Fischl's Elemental Skill.
  2. Use Rosaria's Elemental Burst.
  3. Using the tap variant, employ Eula's Elemental Skill.
  4. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  5. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  6. Use Rosaria, Diona, or Fischl's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately so she catches the particles.
  7. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

6 Eula - Fischl - Diona - Beidou

Eula - Fischl - Diona - Beidou in genshin impact (1)

Of course, the party of three Cryo maidens might be a little overkill. Besides, having dual resonance is always appealing. That's why replacing Rosaria from the prior team with Beidou can drastically change the party's playstyle. Beidou not only acts as Fischl's backup Superconduct catalyzer, but also as Eula's backup DPS.

How To Use It

  1. Use Fischl's Elemental Skill.
  2. Using the tap variant, employ Eula's Elemental Skill.
  3. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  4. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks.
  5. Switch to Beidou for backup DPS and use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) to deal with stragglers.
  6. Alternatively, players can use Beidou's Electro abilities in case Fischl's are on cooldown.
  7. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

5 Eula - Rosaria - Lisa - Jean (C2)

Eula - Rosaria - Lisa - Jean (C2) in genshin impact (1)

Also known as the Ara Ara Team, this one's similar to the Xinyan team, except players will need a C2 Jean. At that level, she will buff up the party's attack speed. More attack speed for Eula means more stacks for her Burst, leading to greater damage. Lisa's abilities can shred enemy defense, so she acts as both a buffer/debuffer and a Superconduct outlet (no pun intended). Fischl can't do both of those.

Additionally, players can equip the Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers to Lisa to further buff Eula's damage. Try out this tall maiden club, and feel the girl power. Players can swap out either Jean or Lisa with Raiden Shogun, and it would still be ara ara.

How To Use It

  1. Use Jean's Elemental Skill. Make sure she catches the particles before switching to activate her C2 buff.
  2. Use Rosaria's Elemental Burst.
  3. Use Lisa's Elemental Burst.
  4. With the tap variant, use Eula's Elemental Skill.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks. Jean's C2 buff will also allow in more attacks before the Lightfall Sword explodes, so make sure to cancel Eula's fifth attack animation. Attack again four times; her first four attacks have faster animation.
  7. Use Rosaria's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately, so she catches the particles.
  8. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

4 Eula - Layla - Shenhe - Kazuha

eula-layla-shenhe-and kazuha team composition in genshin impact

While Eula is famous for her hard-hitting Physical attacks, players can actually take advantage of her Cryo Element by adding Shenhe to her team Comp. Shenhe is an off-field Cryo Support that adds a flat amount of damage to any Cryo hit regardless of that hit’s damage. Therefore, creating a Mono-Cryo team that revolves around Shenhe’s damage can be amazing. While Kazuha isn’t a Cryo unit, he can still apply Cryo with his Elemental Burst and Plunge attacks, which will be buffed by Shenhe. Having Kazuha also allows players to take advantage of his amazing buffs and debuffs that maximize the Cryo damage this team heavily relies on.

Of course, this team can have a better main DPS like Ayaka or Chongyun, but Eula is still viable. The Spindrift Knight will still focus on dealing Physical DMG, especially through her Elemental Burst. This damage will be boosted by Shenhe’s Burst which reduces the enemy's Physical and Cryo RES, plus Shenhe's Tap Skill which increases Skill and Burst DMG. Eula's own Grimheart mechanic also reduces the enemy's Physical and Cryo RES.

How To Use It

  1. Start with Layla’s Elemental Burst and Skill.
  2. Switch to Shenhe and apply her Burst and tap Skill.
  3. Use Kazuha’s Skill, Plunge, and Burst.
  4. Switch to Eula and use her tap Skill and Burst.
  5. Quickly start the rotation again if Eula’s Burst is on cooldown.

3 Eula - Mika (C6) - Fischl (C6) - Yun Jin (C6)

eula-mika-fischl-and yun-jin team composition in genshin impact

A true C6 army of 4-star units to Support Eula can result in some of the best damage in Genshin Impact. Having Mika and Yun Jin in the same Eula team comp can maximize her Elemental Burst damage. That happens by greatly increasing Eula’s ATK SPD which will maximize the stacking of her Lightfall Sword. Now that Eula has a lot of ATK SPD, players can capitalize on that by adding Fischl to the team since her last Constellation in Genshin Impact gives her a unique ability to follow the active character’s Normal attacks with an Electro hit from Oz without any downtime.

RELATED: Genshin Impact: Best Swirl Team

Of course, Fischl can be replaced by other Electro characters as well. For instance, Raiden Shogun can make a better synergy if players are struggling with the tight duration of the Ultimates or are unable to restore the support's Energy at the start of the next rotation.

How To Use It

  1. Start with Mika and cast his Burst and Skill.
  2. Use Yun Jin's Burst.
  3. Put Oz out with Fischl’s Skill or Burst.
  4. Unleash Eula’s Elemental Burst and follow it with as many Normal attacks as possible.
  5. Once her Lightfall Sword hits, repeat the same rotation.

2 Eula - Rosaria - Zhongli - Jean (C2)

Eula - Rosaria - Zhongli - Jean (C2) in genshin impact (1)

Finally, this other ara ara team (plus the Geo archon) sacrifices Lisa's buffs and debuffs for Zhongli's more consistent debuff and Jade Shield. It functions similarly to the prior build, but is simpler to use.

How To Use It

  1. Using the hold variant, employ Zhongli's Elemental Skill.
  2. Use Jean's Elemental Skill. Make sure she catches the particles before switching to activate her C2 buff.
  3. Use Rosaria's Elemental Burst.
  4. Using the tap variant, employ Eula's Elemental Skill.
  5. Use Eula's Elemental Burst.
  6. Attack with Eula four times, then use her Elemental Skill (hold variant) before attacking again four times to build up her Burst damage stacks. As before, Jean's C2 buff will also allow in more attacks before the Lightfall Sword explodes, so cancel Eula's fifth attack animation and attack again four times.
  7. Use Rosaria's abilities to generate energy particles, then switch back to Eula immediately, so she catches the particles.
  8. Repeat step 1 once Eula's Elemental Burst is ready.

1 Eula - Nahida - Xingqiu - Kuki

eula-nahida-xingqiu-and kuki team composition in genshin impact

Hyperbloom teams now are one of the most effective and used teams in Genshin Impact. The core Elements for a Hyperbloom team in Genshin Impact are Dendro, Hydro, and Electro; Nahida, Xingqiu, and Kuki are solid picks as off-field enablers for their respective Elements.

Since Eula has a Cryo vision, she isn’t fully compatible with the general idea of a Hyperbloom team, but that's exactly why she's great. Eula's scarce Cryo hits paired with the fact that Cryo doesn't react with Dendro allow people to play around Hyperbloom while still enjoying Superconduct in the process.

How To Use It

  1. Start with Nahida and mark all enemies with her hold Skill.
  2. Switch to Xingqiu and cast his Burst and both of his Skills.
  3. Complete the Hyperbloom rotation by using Kuki’s Skill.
  4. Now that everything is ready, get Eula out and cast her Skill, Burst, and Normal attacks to mix everything together and create an effective Hyperbloom factory.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
