Sucrose is one of the best supports in Genshin Impact. She is present in almost every big-number YouTuber's videos due to her element and her supportive kit. Being an Anemo catalyst character, Sucrose is capable of triggering Swirl easily. This means that she can continuously activate the effect of the Viridescent Venerer and shred the enemy's resistance.
In the story, Sucrose is the assistant of Albedo, the Chief Alchemist and Captain of the Investigation team of the Knights of Favonius. She admires Albedo for his way of thinking and considers herself to be far behind him in knowledge. But Sucrose herself is exceptionally talented in her field.

Sucrose has the lowest Normal Attack multiplier compared to the other catalyst characters, which means that players won't gain much from it. But, this is understandable considering Sucrose's kits and constellations are filled with supportive materials.
Her charged attack provides small crowd control against smaller enemies, along with her skill and burst. Her passive skill will grant the rest of the party with an additional Elemental Mastery, where triggering Swirl will add 50 Elemental Mastery for the party, while hitting an opponent with her burst will add 20% of her maximum Elemental Mastery.
Best Artifact for Sucrose
Her best artifact set is easily 4-Viridescent Venerer.
4-Viridescent Venerer: Increases Swirl DMG by 60%. Decreases opponent's Elemental RES to the element infused in the Swirl by 40% for 10s.
This set will allow your DPS to deal higher damage due to Sucrose reducing the enemy's elemental resistance. As for the main stat, some players would think stacking Elemental Mastery is the best way to maximize her potential, but this is not entirely true. While the practice will indeed cause larger addition to the players' DPS, the damage lost from Sucrose herself makes this practice poorly recommended.
Instead, players can consider Elemental Mastery or Energy Recharge on their Timepiece, Anemo Damage on their Goblet, and Critical Rate or Critical Damage on their Headpiece. Using this build, players can still benefit from Sucrose's buff for the party, while also dealing damage from her skills.
Best Weapon for Sucrose
Sacrificial Fragments will help Sucrose to stack up Elemental Mastery. Other than that, it also gives a chance for her skill's cooldown to reset, allowing her to deal more damage and generate more energy. Other than Sacrificial, the next weapon that fits her support role is the 3-star Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers.
The 5-star Skyward Atlas is also good for her, along with some other alternatives such as Solar Pearl, Favonius Codex, Mappa Mare, and The Widsith.
Best Teammates for Sucrose
Sucrose is an amazing support for DPS that utilizes Pyro, Electro, Cryo, and Hydro damage. For example, Hu Tao and Diluc. Sucrose will be able to reduce the enemy's resistance and allows the players' DPS to deal higher elemental damage.
Her skill also generates a lot of energy, so she can be a great battery for characters like Xiao. Other than that, Sucrose is also a great option for crowd control, opening a window for the players' DPS to focus on one spot to hit multiple enemies.
