Arataki Itto is the newest character in Genshin Impact. This Inazuman character couldn't be released earlier, as in the story, his vision was taken away from him. However, with the abolishment of the Vision Hunt Decree, those who have lost their visions can finally reunite with this gift from the gods.

Genshin Impact's leader of the Arataki Gang wields a Geo Element. After obtaining his ambition back, Itto intends to have a rematch with Kujou Sara, the one that defeated him to confiscate his vision. For players who want Itto to be stronger than Sara, here's how they should build him.

Itto's Talent Overview In Genshin Impact

Itto is highly reliant on his Elemental Burst to deal damage. However, his most important multiplier exists in his Normal attacks.

Normal Attack

Arataki Itto's Normal attacks are quite, well, normal. However, what makes them unique is his Charged attacks. If Itto has a Superlative Superstrength stack, his Charged attacks will be more powerful and won't consume stamina. Meanwhile, if he doesn't have any stacks, he will perform one slash. This is untraditional as Claymore units usually can perform combos for up to five seconds.

There are several ways to get Itto's Superlative Superstrength stacks:

• Itto's second Normal attack (one stack)
• Itto's fourth Normal attack (two stacks)
• Elemental Skill hits an enemy (one stack)
• Elemental Skill got damaged (one stack)
• When Elemental Skill leaves the field (one stack)
• Itto's first Geo-infused Normal attack (one stack)
• Itto's third Geo-infused Normal attack (one stack)

Elemental Skill

Arataki Itto summons Ushi, a young bull of the Arataki Gang. This bull will taunt the enemies. Ushi is also considered a Geo construct.

Elemental Burst

Similar to Noelle, Itto infuses his weapon with Geo and converts some of his defense to attack. In this state, Arataki Itto is weaker to all damage.

Best Artifacts For Itto In Genshin Impact

Artifact Main Stat:

• Timepiece: DEF%
• Goblet: Geo DMG%
• Headwear: Crit Rate% or DMG%

Sub Stat focus:

1. Crit Rate%
2. Crit DMG%
3. DEF%
4. Energy Recharge%
5. ATK%

As a defensive Geo unit, naturally, Itto needs defensive artifacts. However, for his Goblet, Geo DMG% will yield a higher damage output than DEF%.

If players are having a hard time obtaining the correct main stats, then they can temporarily use ATK% on the Timepiece and DEF% on Goblet.

Best Weapon For Itto In Genshin Impact

1. Redhorn Stonethresher
2. Serpent Spine
3. Whiteblind

Redhorn Stonethresher is clearly made for Itto. This weapon has a low Base ATK, but in return, a massive Crit DMG% Sub-stats. However, because Arataki Itto doesn't really need ATK%, most 5-star weapons don't perform very well for him.

Instead, 4-star Claymores like Serpent Spine, Whiteblind, and Blackcliff Slasher are better options for him. At R5, Whiteblind outperforms R1 Serpent Spine. So F2P players can really rely on this weapon for Itto.

Best Teammates For Itto In Genshin Impact

As a Geo character, it is highly recommended to play Itto with another Geo unit. Characters like Gorou are crucial for building the best team for Itto in Genshin Impact. Gorou can provide bonus DEF% and Geo DMG%. With Constellations, he can even grant Geo Crit DMG% and minor healing.

However, Gorou alone is not sufficient for Itto. For Geo Resonance to be triggered, a shield must protect the character. Therefore, players either need a shielder like Zhongli or a unit that can easily apply Aura Elements (Hydro, Pyro, Electro, and Cryo). This way, Itto can create his own shield through Crystallized Reactions. Crystallize is also great for C2 Gorou as it will increase the duration of his Elemental Burst.

Does Itto Need A Battery?

Arataki Itto won't deal much damage without his Geo Infusion. So, ensuring the availability of his Elemental Burst is crucial. His Burst requires 70 energy, this is considered pretty high when compared to other units.

Luckily, Itto is a decent battery himself. His Ushi generates four Elemental Particles when summoned. But, even then, he still needs battery support to maintain 100% Burst uptime.

By far, Albedo is his best option. Unfortunately, he's not accessible to everyone. For those who do not own the Chalk Prince, they can opt for these characters:

1. Ningguang: With C2 and Favonius Codex, the Tianquan can be a major energy boost for Itto.
2. Geo Traveler: Can be a decent Sub-DPS and a better battery with Favonius Sword.
3. Gorou: The Resistance's General isn't a great battery, but can provide many other utilities.

If players use Albedo and C2 Ningguang, they can play Itto without Energy Recharge%. However, in other cases, players need around 150% Energy Recharge to keep his Burst up.
