A Genshin Impact player shares a video that showcases the synergy between the recently released Dendro user Baizhu and some of the game's strongest Hydro characters. He is currently placed on the ongoing Limited Character Banner that also features the Cryo bow user and three four-star characters.
Baizhu is not the only new character that arrived in this part of the update as the same Genshin Impact banner cycle introduced another Dendro user, the four-star architect known as Kaveh. Players who want to add either of these characters to their playable roster have a couple of days to do so as the banner is scheduled to expire around May 23.
A Reddit user named Kitchen-Air-1012 has shared an interesting video that shows how Baizhu performs when placed in a unique version of the popular Bloom team composition. This type of party relies on triggering the Bloom elemental reaction which can be triggered by combining Dendro with Hydro which will drop small Dendro cores that explode after a couple of seconds. Besides Baizhu, the player's team features two Hydro characters, Nilou and Childe, as well as the Sumeru Archon Nahida. The addition of a strong Dendro healer like Baizhu has allowed players to feature more powerful Hydro characters such as Childe in their Bloom team. Having a character that can provide heals or shields is crucial in this team since the Bloom explosions can deal damage to the active character.
The footage was taken from the second chamber of the current version of the Spiral Abyss which features Ruin Drakes. Some comments have pointed out that the player should've recorded the team's performance against the other half of this domain which features multiple characters which is when Bloom team comps shine the most.
However, Kitchen-Air-1012 has stated that the goal of this video was to showcase that Baizhu's Bloom party is extremely powerful even when fighting against single targets. The Hydro user Nilou is also a must-have for this team since her whole kit revolves around enhancing the damage potential of the Dendro cores which turn into Bountiful cores when she's in the party thanks to a passive talent effect.
Some comments have also pointed out that Baizhu has great synergy with Nahida who is widely considered the best Dendro support in the Genshin Impact. Nahida can provide tons of damage and elemental applications while Baizhu's main job is to keep the main DPS character secure and deal some Dendro damage in the process.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
