Back on July 21st, 2020, Inazuma was released in Genshin Impact. The long-awaited region comes with a brand new atmosphere, quests, and puzzles for players to enjoy. As usual, the small bits of lore players can find are linked to each other. These pieces are thrilling for lore enthusiasts to put together.

One of the small bits to the puzzle is Chouji, a young boy from Higi Village. Chouji is on the quest to find his mother, who is on the quest to find his father. Chouji's mother actually entrusted Chouji to "Uncle" Onitaka, but Onitaka's crew were driven to madness by the Tatarigami. Tatarigami is a curse left by the slain Serpent on Yashiori Island. It causes the people infected to become ill, and eventually, mad. However, unlike most people in Higi Village, Chouji and his mother appear to be unaffected by this ominous curse in Genshin Impact.

How To Get And I Would Walk 3000 More Achievement In Genshin Impact

And I Would Walk 3000 More achievement Genshin Impact

To get the And I Would Walk 3000 More achievement, players have to find Chouji on Tatarasuna and Narukami Island. To do so, players have to finish Gazing Three Thousand Miles Away World Quest first. This quest can be triggered by talking to Chouji in Jakotsu Mine, where he will ask the Traveler to bring him Crystal Marrows. Chouji plans to use this ascension material to get money to find his mother.

After finishing the World Quest, players can come back to Chouji. This time, he will ask for more Crystal Marrows. Chouji tells the Traveler that he will try to find a cure for his mother using the Crystal Marrows. Next, he will head for Tatarasuna, and afterward, Narukami Island.

How To Find Chouji On Tatarasuna And Narukami Island

Chouji Location Tatarasuna

After saying that he'll be traveling, Chouji can first be found near Tatarasuna. Players can use the Statue of the Seven in Yashiori Island, then glide down until they find a green tent. Chouji is standing across the tent, with an Exquisite Chest next to him. The boy will disappear after players interact with him.

Chouji Location Narukami Island

Next, players can find Chouji near a shrine in Inazuma City. This time, a Precious Chest is available next to him. Talking to Chouji will grant the And I Would Walk 3000 More achievement, which rewards five Primogems.

Chouji's family is quite interesting. Unlike the rest of the Higi Village and Yashiori Island's inhabitants, Chouji and his mother aren't affected by the Tatarigami. In fact, if players pay attention to what Washizu said in the Hollow Soul's hidden quest, they will find that Washizu claimed the power of Tatarigami flowed "freely inside her". Furthermore, he also noted in the missing register that "he" is pleased with Chouji's mother, which may explain why she's not driven to madness by the Tatarigami.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
