Some of the most challenging puzzles that Genshin Impact players will encounter in the 2.1 update are the Relay Stone puzzles found throughout Watatsumi and Seirai Island. In the Sangonomiya Shrine region of Watatsumi Island, Genshin Impact players will find four Relay Stone puzzles that vary in difficulty.

Completing all of the Relay Stone puzzles in the region will reward players with 2 common chests, and 2 exquisite chests. Players will also earn a significant amount of Electro Sigils that are used to increase the Traveller's Sacred Sakura Favor at the Grand Narukami Shrine.

Sangonomiya Shrine Relay Stone Puzzle 1 Solution

The first Relay Stone puzzle is found directly north of the Sangonomiya Shrine waypoint. At the puzzle, players will find two discharge stones that they must connect to a single culmination stone.

puzzle 1 location

Start by heading east and pick up the relay stone hanging in mid-air between two tree branches.

relay stone

After obtaining the first relay stone, head towards the culmination stone. Jump off the plateau next to the culmination stone, and place the relay stone in the air so that it connects to the discharge stone to the east.

first connection

Once players have made a stable connection, proceed west and obtain the second relay stone from the top of another nearby tree.

relay stone 2

Head south towards the second discharge stone and place the relay stone next to the smaller tree nearby.

connection 2

Head towards the culmination stone and stand next to the electro crystal. This should cause the character to be charged with electricity for a brief period of time. Once the player is charged, stand between the electro crystal and the last relay stone that was placed.

If all stones have been positioned correctly an exquisite chest will spawn nearby.

Sangonomiya Shrine Electro Seelie Puzzle 1

The second relay stone puzzle is found by traveling northeast of the Sangonomiya Shrine waypoint.

puzzle location 2

At the location shown below, players will find an Electro-Seelie next to a tree. Walk up to the Seelie and follow it to its final destination.

The Seelie will end up next to the relay stone puzzle on the opposite side of the rock formation. To solve the puzzle, simply interact with the Electrogranum nearby and stand in a position that creates a stable connection to the culmination stone.

Once a stable connection has been created, a common chest will spawn nearby.

Sangonomiya Shrine Electro Seelie Puzzle 2

This puzzle is found by teleporting to the northernmost Watatsumi Island waypoint. From this waypoint, proceed west.

puzzle 3 location

Players will eventually notice an Electro-Seelie overlooking a shrine off in the distance. Walk up to the Seelie and follow it until it reaches its final destination.

electro seelie

The Seelie will eventually reach the relay stone puzzle which sits on top of a large waterfall. At this location, pick up the relay stone on top of the grassy plateau, and place it so that it overlooks the waterfall.

After placing the relay stone, proceed west to the water and walk up to the electro crystal.

Sangonomiya Shrine Relay Stone Puzzle 2 Solution

The final Relay Stone puzzle is found southwest of the Sangonomiya Shrine waypoint.

puzzle 4 location

This is arguably the easiest relay stone puzzle in the game to complete. To solve the puzzle, activate the Electrogranum plant next to the tree nearby, and stand next to any of the discharge stones in the area.

electrogranum

When the player stands next to any of the stones while charged, a connection will run through all of them and a common chest will spawn nearby.
