In Genshin Impact, players will find no shortage of items to collect throughout the game's vast open world. While Genshin Impact players' initial priority should be to collect all of the Anemoculus and Geoculus to raise their overall stamina, there are several additional collectible sets that can be obtained which reward primogems.
One of the most common types of optional collectibles is the various book sets that can be obtained throughout the world. There are currently 35 book sets in Genshin Impact for players to find. Each book set typically consists of multiple volumes and will reward the player with 5 primogems for each set completed. In the "Legend of the Shattered Halberd" series, there are a total of six volumes that players must collect to complete the set. These volumes can all be found in the region of Liyue, most of which in Liyue Harbor itself.

Along with the many collections added with the introduction of the Inazuma region, the Legend of the Shattered Halberd series remains one of the most elusive given its unique collection methods. In recognition of this fact, this guide has been updated to add more information about the book set and the achievements related to it.
Legend of the Shattered Halberd

Published by Yae Publishing House in Inazuma, the Legend of the Shattered Halberd is a set of martial arts novels written by Liyue’s Mr. Nine. The author is also known for writing the Flowers for Princess Fischl, which Mondstadt’s Fischl used to build her current persona.
In terms of gameplay, the Legend of the Shattered Halberd is a 4-star book series with a set of 6 volumes that can be found around Liyue. Players will need to collect all 6 of these volumes in order to complete the Divine Halberd Mocks the Heavens achievement.
Where To Find All Legend of the Shattered Halberd Books in Genshin Impact
Players can find the 1st, 4th and 5th volumes of the series at the Wanwen Bookhouse in Liyue Harbor. To find the store, fast travel to the waypoint nearest to MingXing jewelry in Liyue Harbor. From the waypoint, walk across the street and up the red staircase to reach the book store. Speak to the store owner Jifang who will sell each of the volumes to the player for 9000 mora each.
The 2nd volume of the series can be found by fast traveling to Stone Gate waypoint in northern Liyue. From the waypoint, walk down the wooden path to reach an area populated by several NPC shop vendors. In the area, players will find a couple sitting at a table next to the mountainside. The 2nd volume can be found on top of the table.
The 3rd volume of the series is obtained from the storyteller in Liyue Harbor. To obtain the book, fast-travel to the waypoint nearest to MingXing Jewelry and walk down the street to reach the jewel icon on the map.
From the jewel icon, climb the red stairs on the opposite side of the street to reach the storyteller Liu Su. Players will only be able to interact with the storyteller at approximately 9 am. During this time period, players can speak to the storyteller, and he will begin to recite a series of tales for the player. At the end of each story select the (Listen In) prompt until he gives the 3rd volume as a reward.
The 6th and final volume of the series is obtained by completing the Xingqiu "Bookworm Swordsman" questline. At the end of the final quest in the series, "Justice Is Its Own Reward," players will receive the final book and will earn 5 primogems for completing the full set.
In addition, players will also complete the Divine Halberd Mocks the Heavens achievement, giving them 5 more primogems for completing the Legend of Shattered Halberd set.
