A new leak on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed more information about this unique character who's proven to be a very skillful fighter. A credible leaker named Uncle Lu has apparently confirmed that Alhaitham will arrive in Genshin Impact update 3.4 which, according to the game's update schedule should drop around mid-January. The official story revealed that he is a member of the Haravatat, which is one of the six main schools in Sumeru Akademiya. Alhaitham is a mysterious Genshin Impact character known for his intellect who's prepared to bend other people's will to further his own goals which was proven during one of the Sumeru quests.

When it comes to his element, Alhaitham is confirmed to be a new Dendro character which led many players to believe that he will be the second DPS character to use this element after Tighnari. However, unlike Tighnari who became a part of the Standard Banner, Alhaitham is expected to be the go-to choice for most types of team compositions that need a strong Dendro DPS unit. While there is a lot of hype around this character, players don't seem too happy about the timing of his arrival.

Some fans claim that they simply won't have enough Primogems to spend on Alhaitham considering that both 3.2 and 3.3 are stacked with very strong characters. The current banner named "The Moongrass' Enlightenment" has introduced the long-awaited Dendro Archon Nahida who keeps breaking new revenue records. She is a very flexible character for team comps and the only five-star Dendro support in the game at the moment.

Developer HoYoverse already confirmed the arrival of two new characters in Genshin Impact update 3.3, one of which is the highly anticipated Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche, who has been a part of the game since version 1.1. After months of speculation, developer HoYoverse confirmed that he will be joining the playable roster but not as an Electro character as the game's official splash art revealed that he will be equipped with an Anemo Vision.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
