Early on in their journey through Genshin Impact, players will encounter a character named Katheryne in Mondstadt. She introduces the player to the Adventurer's Guild, explaining that it provides a lot of benefits with absolutely no drawbacks. Though this sounds too good to be true, she's not lying.

That said, certain dungeons and features will be locked behind reaching certain Adventure Ranks, making grinding out experience for this a huge priority for some players. Most notably, Genshin Impact doesn't allow co-op play until reaching Adventure Rank 16, so players wanting to explore with friends will want to reach this level as soon as possible.

There aren't any obvious fast tracks for gaining Adventure Rank, but there are a few methods that players can use to significantly speed up the process. Any of these methods will work, and it shouldn't end up taking too terribly long to get to Adventure Rank 16 and beyond by doing these things.

Genshin Impact Adventure Rank Guide

The easiest way to get Adventure Rank experience is by simply completing Genshin Impact's story quests. Each story scenario grants a good chunk of experience that will help players level up fairly quickly. This is somewhat counter-intuitive for those wanting to play through the story with friends, however, so there are other options as well. Aside from the story, the most efficient way to increase Adventure Rank is by completing Daily Commission Quests. These unlock at Adventure Rank 12 and players are able to take on four quests each day. Each of these quests offers hundreds of experience points and completing all four in a day will grant a boost of 500 more experience.

On a similar note, players should be sure to keep an eye on their Adventurer's Handbook. There are several tasks in the handbook that players can complete for good chunks of experience, and there are other rewards to be had as well. These can often be completed while doing other tasks. Finally, grinding dungeons is a solid and more consistent way to get Adventure Rank experience. After reaching Adventure Rank 12, players can enter the Windy Cliffs dungeon. This is a fairly easy and quick run and grants 200 experience for each completion, making it a good way to grind to Adventure Rank 16 and enable co-op in Genshin Impact.

Ultimately, players should probably use the story quests until at least hitting Adventure Rank 12. After hitting that milestone, a lot of options open up for different ways to rank up, and the process will be a lot easier. Those still looking for a little extra boost should consider activating all of Genshin Impact's teleport stones, as these provide 50 Adventure Rank experience each and are useful to have on hand.
