A new Genshin Impact leak reveals two new artifact sets that will arrive in the upcoming version 3.6. Developer HoYoverse already confirmed two new characters, Kaveh and Baizhu, for the next update which is expected to drop around April 20.

Every character in Genshin Impact can equip up to five different artifact pieces which greatly impact their performance on the battlefield. Unlike the game's weapons, which can be obtained on limited gacha banners, the two only ways to get artifacts is by farming specific domains or finding chests that are spread all over the world of Teyvat.

Every five-star artifact piece in Genshin Impact has one main and three or four sub-stats. Artifacts can also grant additional bonuses depending on how many pieces of a specific set a character has equipped. A new post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed two new artifact sets for the upcoming Genshin Impact version 3.6. The first set is called Nymph's Dream and it has the following effects:

  • 2-piece bonus: increases Hydro damage by 15%
  • 4-piece bonus: attacking an enemy with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunge Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst will grant one stack of Nymph's Cross for 8 seconds. This effect will increase the character's ATK by 7-25% and Hydro damage by 4-15%. The effect is limited to three stacks and their duration is calculated independently.

Many players claim that this artifact set could be used on the Hydro user Kamisato Ayato. He is an S-tier DPS character who can also fill the sub-DPS role since his burst effect stays on the field even when he gets swapped out. The second artifact set is named Brilliance of Dew, and it grants the following buffs:

  • 2-piece bonus: increases HP by 20%
  • 4-piece bonus: increases the damage of Elemental Skills and Bursts by 10%. When a Genshin Impact enemy deals damage to the character, this effect is increased by 80%. However, this bonus only applies if the equipped character is not on the field.

This artifact set is made for the new five-star character Dehya considering that she's the only DPS in the game who can take damage when she's not on the field. A couple of comments have stated that this effect will greatly improve Dehya's damage potential, and it could make her an S-tier DPS. Players who want to add the new Pyro five-star to their roster should not wait for her re-run as HoYoverse confirmed that Dehya will join the Standard Banner after 3.5 ends.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
