Genshin Impact's official social media accounts have finally revealed the items that will appear on the upcoming weapon banner for the first part of update 3.4. Every update is divided into two banner cycles that feature a different set of limited weapons and characters. Developer HoYoverse already confirmed that the banner will feature two limited five-star characters, Alhaitham and Xiao.
Alhaitham won't be the only new character to arrive at the start of Genshin Impact 3.4 as the official live stream event confirmed that he will be joined by another four-star unit named Yaoyao. This will allow players to acquire both new Dendro users by spending their Primogems on a single banner.
Weapon Banners are very similar to the Limited Character banner as they feature two five-star and five four-star weapons. The two five-star items usually serve as signature weapons for the featured characters which in this case are Xiao and Alhaitham. The only new item on the banner will be the sword Light of Foliar Incision which serves as the signature weapon for the new Dendro DPS character Alhaitham. According to Genshin Impact's official Twitter account, the first phase of update 3.4 will feature the following weapons:
- Light of Foliar Incision - five-star sword
- Primordial Jade Winged-Spear - five-star polearm
- Lithic Spear - four-star polearm
- The Flute - four-star sword
- Rainslasher - four-star claymore
- The Widsith - four-star catalyst
- Sacrificial Bow - four-star bow
Even though the new sword is designed for Alhaitham, it can also be used by almost every sword user in the game thanks to its high base stats. Its passive effect, Whitemoon Bristle, provides a significant Crit Rate buff, and it also increases Elemental Skill and Normal Attack damage after dealing elemental damage with a Normal Attack.
Alhaitham can infuse his Normal Attacks with Dendro damage which means that he can easily trigger the passive effect. The second five-star weapon, the Primordial Jade Winged-Spear, is one of the best polearms in Genshin Impact, and it arrived alongside the Anemo user Xiao. The polearm provides a lot of ATK to the weapon holder which means that players should not equip this weapon with a character whose kit does not scale with this stat.
While the two five-star weapons are both considered S-tier items, fans don't seem too happy about the four-star lineup, at least according to the comment section. The best four-star item on the list is probably the Widsith catalyst which can be used by some DPS characters.
Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
