Genshin Impact's 3.3 Special Program livestream event has revealed a new set of codes that grant various rewards. A couple of days before each new version of the game arrives, developer HoYoverse usually hosts a live stream event revealing all of the upcoming content.

The Special Program gave more information about the upcoming Genshin Impact characters, the two new Anemo users named Wanderer and Faruzan. Wanderer, previously known as Scaramouche, is confirmed to be a new five-star unit while Faruzen will have a lower four-star rarity.

The event has given more information about one of the most anticipated characters in Genshin Impact, Wanderer, who used to be one of the main villains in the game. He will apparently go through a significant character development arc which could make him swap to the good side. Wanderer is a catalyst user, and he has an Anemo Vision which allows him to use wind blades while performing ranged Normal Attacks. His Elemental Skill will allow him to hover in the air when he casts his Elemental Skill, Hanega: Song of the Wind.

Upon using this skill, Wanderer will first deal AoE damage before entering the hovering state that allows him to float above his opponents and deal increased damage with his Normal and Charged Attacks. He also uses a special type of stamina bar which allows him to stay or move around in the air. Contacting one of the following elements: Hydro, Cryo, Electro, or Pyro, will give an additional buff based on the corresponding element which makes Wanderer one of the most flexible DPS characters in the game.

The event also confirmed that Wanderer will arrive alongside Arataki Itto on the same double banner. The banner will also include the new four-star character Faruzan which means that players can acquire both Anemo users by pulling on a single banner. The second banner cycle will also include two S-tier characters, the Electro Archon Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato.

Genshin Impact is now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.Ĺľ
