Weapons are a big part of Genshin Impact, and equipping a character with the right weapon has probably the greatest impact on their performance on the battlefield. Each update brings two limited weapon banners which include two five-star and five four-star items.

The first banner cycle has brought a new character Kamisato Ayato alongside the Anemo support Venti. The two five-star Genshin Impact weapons featured on the banner are Ayato's signature weapon, Haran Geppaku Futsu, and a popular bow, Elegy For The End. Hoyoverse's recent announcement revealed the weapons that will be obtainable for a limited time on the second banner cycle.

Genshin Impact has officially revealed the items that will arrive in the second banner phase for the current Genshin Impact Version 2.6. The new weapon banner will feature the following items:

  • Mistsplitter Reforged (five-star sword)
  • The Unforged (five-star claymore)
  • Favonius Sword (four-star sword)
  • The Bell (four-star claymore)
  • Favonius Lance (four-star polearm)
  • Favonius Codex (four-star catalyst)
  • Favonius Warbow (four-star bow)

Mistsplitter is one of the strongest five-star weapons in Genshin Impact. Its secondary stat can increase the character's Crit Damage up to 44%, which means that it's best suited for DPS characters. The passive gives a 12 to 24 elemental damage bonus based on the refinement level. This means that the weapon is a great fit for characters that have a strong elemental damage potential.

The weapon is a great choice for Kamisato Ayaka, who will get her first banner re-run in the second phase of this update. Players had to wait for six updates for one of the most popular Genshin Impact characters to finally receive her first banner re-run. The game's story has revealed that Ayaka is a kind-hearted girl who oversees the famous Kamisato clan.

The Unforged is a decent five-star claymore and a great fit for supportive claymore characters with strong shielding capabilities like Noelle and Beidou. The weapon's passive increases the shield strength by 20% and gives a 4% Attack buff that can be stacked up to five times. Fans were hoping that the upcoming weapon banner could finally include the long-awaited Wolf's Gravestone, which has not made an appearance since Genshin Impact Version 1.3. However, Hoyoverse decided to delay it once again. The claymore is considered to be one of the strongest weapons in Genshin Impact, and it's been missing for over a year.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
