Genshin Impact updates usually bring two different banner cycles which offer two sets of limited five-star and four-star characters. The first banner for Version 2.6 brought the new Hydro user Kamisato Ayato and the Anemo Archon Venti as a part of a double banner.

The livestream event has confirmed that the second banner will feature Ayato's sister, Ayaka, who has been waiting for a re-run since Genshin Impact update 2.0. It has been confirmed that she will be the only limited five-star character featured on the second banner cycle, which is unusual considering that Hoyoverse usually combines at least two re-runs in one banner cycle.

Each limited Genshin Impact banner has one five-star and three four-star characters which are obtainable for around three weeks. The second limited banner for the ongoing 2.6 update will arrive around April 19. The official Genshin Impact Twitter account has revealed the four-star characters that will arrive alongside Kamisato Ayaka on the second banner:

  • Rosaria (four-star Cryo polearm character)
  • Razor (four-star Electro claymore character)
  • Sayu (four-star Anemo claymore character)

Razor has not been featured on a banner for such a long time that fans already started theorizing that his absence from the limited banner has been made permanent. Once he was released back in September 2020, Razor was considered to be one of, if not the, strongest DPS character at the time, despite his lower rarity. Since then, he was pushed down the DPS tier list with the release of new and more complex characters. However, one of his greatest assets is the fact that he is a four-star character which means that players can much more easily acquire his Constellations compared to the game's five-stars.

Rosaria is a Cryo polearm character with the ability to fit both the DPS and the support position. Her Elemental Skill and Burst have a fairly low cooldown means that she can apply the Cryo element very frequently which gives her a lot of potential for creating various elemental reactions. Pairing her with strong Hydro applicators, like Xingqiu and Barbara can result in a permafreeze party which is one of the strongest type of team compositions in Genshin Impact.

Sayu officially arrived back in Genshin Impact update 2.0 which introduced the islands of Inazuma where she was a part of Yoimiya's Tapestry of Golden Flames banner. She is another support character with the ability to deal damage similar to Bennett. One of her greatest strengths is that, like most other Anemo users, Sayu is a very flexible Genshin Impact character and a great addition to most team compositions.

Genshin Impact is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices. A Switch version is in development.
