12 Primape (Aries)
Aries are known for being confident and courageous, but they are also known to be headstrong, reckless, impatient and tend to get angry very easily. Primape is the prime example of an Aries because Primapes are known to get furious very fast and attack anything they see when they are in their angry state. Even in the Pokemon anime, Ash's Primape has a temper that even Ash can barley deal with. This makes Primape the perfect Aries Pokemon.
11 Meowth (Taurus)
Taurus are people who have a huge appreciation for art and for expensive things all together. Meowth's also enjoy anything that has to do with money. Meowth also in the Pokemon anime, just like Taurus, is very reliable (to Team Rocket). Taurus are also possessive and stubborn which is something they share with Meowth as well. Both want a luxurious life, which isn't a bad thing, it just means both parties enjoy expensive things and want that type of lifestyle.
10 Ditto (Gemini)
The symbol of the Gemini is twins because Gemini tend to have more than one personality, not to say its always a negative trait to have, but it can also be positive. Just like a Gemini, Ditto adapts differently to every situation that comes upon it. It transforms into whatever Pokemon it is facing at that time. Gemini do a similar tactic when faced with a certain situation. They adapt to get the best out of said situation. Ditto and Gemini are one in the same as to they do not react the same to every single person and at different points, may seem like a different person (or Pokemon) completely!
9 Kangaskhan (Cancer)
The water-sign, Cancer is known for being empathetic, nurturing and giving reassuring, and what better Pokemon than the mother Pokemon, Kangaskhan! This motherly Pokemon is always caring for it's baby that lives in its pouch. But with this care and responsibility, comes the anxiety of taking care of the baby.
This fits very well with Cancers because they are anxious and insecure which makes perfect sense for Kangaskhan because all they care about is their baby. Cancers are very motherly beings that care for other people much more than they care for themselves, like Kangaskhan.
8 Charizard (Leo)
One of the reasons that Charizard is a good Pokemon to signify Leo is that Leo is a fire sign, which can translate to a fire type Pokemon. Another reason that Charizard is a popular Pokemon in the community that has a lot of energy and confidence, especially Ash's Charizard. Ash's Charizard also has many of the negative traits of a Leo, such as being egotistical, lazy, conceded, and being explosive dominantly. With all of these factors, Charizard makes for the perfect Leo Pokemon.
7 Jigglypuff (Virgo)
Virgos are perfectionists that believe in duty and to purify. The reason that Jigglypuff is the best pick for Virgo is because Jigglypuff always feel the need to sing in front of people, which can be also known as "duty". When people are falling asleep to Jigglypuff's music, it gets angry because its performance was not perfect, making it the perfect Virgo that only wants to do things perfectly.
6 Farfetch'd (Libra)
The symbol for Libra is a scale that symbolizes security and harmony. For a Farfetch'd, having its leek gives it security and harmony, especially when battling. Both are very honest and stand for justice which just connects the Pokemon more to the sign.
Farfetch'd are also reliable, and fight for balance, this makes it a very good Libra Pokemon. Plus without its leek, Farfetch'd is off balanced and can't do anything until balance is restored again with the leek.
5 Gengar (Scorpio)
Scorpios tend to be a 'toxic' sign, which means a poison Pokemon like Gengar is already a good pick. But Scorpios also tend to be passionate and fearless which is exactly what Gengars are.
Negative wise, Gengars are always getting away with reeking havoc on anyone that is around it, which Scorpios also do. While they both may seem like negative things to be around, once you get to know them, they can be great partners in life, it just takes some time.
4 Butterfree (Sagittarius)
Sagittarius are known to love their freedom and love to explore. A prime example of Butterfree displaying this characteristic is in Season 1 Episode 21 of the Pokemon Anime. Ash lets his Butterfree go because it wants to be free in the wild with other Butterfree. Sagittarius do not like to be tied down to one place. Also Butterfree are also flying type which bring a whole new meaning to adventurous. Butterfree also never gave Ash any problems in the anime and was a hard worker just like Sagittarius are.
3 Arcanine (Capricorn)
Capricorns are practical, responsible and loyal. Arcanine is all of the above. While it is a good Pokemon to have, a lot of the time Arcanines work as K9 in the Pokemon world to stop criminals. They are a dog Pokemon that makes them loyal. They may be strong to have in battle, but they also have a sense of responsibility when it comes to doing the right thing, just like Capricorns.
2 Chansey (Aquarius)
While Chansey may also seem like a good pick for Cancer, Aquarius fits it better for many reasons. Aquarius are known to be loving, humane and innovating which is very similar to Chansey. Most Chanseys are known to work in the Pokemon Center because they want to help sick Pokemon to get better. Aquarius are very caring just like Chansey and just want to help people/Pokemon so that they are healthy, which makes them the perfect pair.
1 Togepi (Pisces)
There are many reasons why Togepi is similar to a Pisces. Pisces tend to be very sensitive and tend to feel for others experiences rather than their own which relates to Togepi. Especially in the anime, Togepi, while it is a baby Pokemon, is very sensitive and even the tiniest of issues can make it upset. It also adapts to its surroundings and goes into an egg form to try to escape from situations. Pisces tend to do something similar when trying to escape from a bad situation like Togepi.
