Conan O'Brien invites rapper Wiz Khalifa to join him in playing the early levels in the Gears of War 4 campaign mode on the latest Clueless Gamer segment.

Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer segment is back, this time to promote Gears of War 4, The Coalition's first original game. In the segment, Conan doesn't have to face the Swarm creatures alone. On the contrary, he has famous rapper Wiz Khalifa by his side to play through a few levels of the split-screen co-op campaign. Hilarity ensues as Wiz Khalifa and Conan rev their chainsaws, blow up DeeBees, and slaughter the Swarm in Gears of War 4.

As fans of the Clueless Gamer segments may expect, Conan is relatively unskilled when it comes to playing Gears of War 4, and is guilty of numerous friendly-fire situations in the video. Wiz Khalifa, on the other hand, seems to have a great deal more experience with video games than Conan and some of the other celebrity guests he's had on the show in the past, like Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey of Game of Thrones fame, for example.

For fans of the Gears of War franchise, the observations made by Conan and Wiz Khalifa during their time with the game may be especially amusing. The two also seem to enjoy their time with the game, which should be reassuring for anyone that plans on picking it up this coming Tuesday, as Conan has sometimes appeared difficult to please when it comes to video games he's played on the show in the past.

While the hardcore Gears of War fan base may already have the $100 Ultimate Edition and are playing through the game early, this Clueless Gamer segment may convince more casual fans to pick up the new game. It highlights some of the most exciting moments in the early sections of the campaign, and also makes it a point to showcase the game's split-screen co-op campaign, which could be a selling point for some gamers in an age where most titles are abandoning local co-op entirely.

Even if it wasn't showcased on the Clueless Gamer segment, though, Gears of War 4 has always stood a good chance at being one of the highest selling games of the year. Past games in the series sold millions of copies and released to rave reviews, and while the Gears of War 4 reviews aren't quite as enthusiastic, they're still generally positive. That positive reception combined with its multi-platform releases puts Gears of War 4 in a good position to generate serious revenue for Microsoft and The Coalition.

With its wide release just around the corner, we won't have to wait long to see if Gears of War 4 sells big. In the meantime, hopefully Conan continues these Clueless Gamer segments, and starts doing them for some more obscure games that could benefit from additional publicity.

Gears of War 4 will be available on October 11th for PC and Xbox One.
