The holiday season is officially here, which means retailers will start offering amazing deals on video games, consoles, and accessories. Although today marks the end of GameStop's Game Days Sale, shoppers can still find good deals on video games with the retailer's Winter Sale, which is live right now and will run through January 1, 2020.

GameStop's Winter Sale is currently offering massive discounts on select games for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The best part of GameStop's sale is that the store offers several recently released triple-A games. Headlining the Winter Sale is Hideo Kojima's latest game, Death Stranding. The game is currently available for $39.99, which is $20 off its original list price of $59.99. Death Stranding takes players in a post-apocalyptic world where players control Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), who is a courier with the responsibility of delivering supplies to isolated colonies and connect them via a wireless communications network.

Apart from Death Stranding, other recently released games such as Borderlands 3, Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Need For Speed Heat, The Outer Worlds, and many more are also available in the sale. The list below shows the discounted prices for games that are brand new. However, players who want to get even more savings would be happy to know that all pre-owned games at GameStop are "buy 2 get 2 free."

Besides video games, GameStop is also offering a few deals for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Although the store's current offerings on consoles are not as varied as Black Friday, the popular Only on PlayStation Bundle is available once again for GameStop's Winter Sale. This bundle includes a 1TB PlayStation 4 and three iconic games: The Last of Us Remastered, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, and God of War. The store is also offering a good price for the All-Digital Edition of the Xbox One S. Unsurprisingly, the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite did not get any price reductions, but players who will purchase a new Lite console and a Switch game will get a case for free.
