Get ready to relive the glory days of taking down Wall Street! Seth Rogen, Sebastian Stan, Paul Dano and Pete Davidson are set to star in Craig Gillespie's adaptation of Ben Mezrich's The Antisocial Network. After making its move from MGM to Black Bear productions, the film will be named Dumb Money.

According to Deadline who has been following this film closely, Gillespie, Rogen, and Stan have been looking for a project to follow up on their success from Hulu's Pam and Tommy. Dumb Money will take a deeper dive into how the subreddit r/WallStreetBets took down one of Wall Street's biggest hedge funds. The infamous subreddit had originally started out for high-risk investors however the creator of the subreddit, Jamie Rogozinski, then made it a safe space for those curious about stocks to ask any kind of questions they wanted and not be judged for it.

When big Hedge Funds wanted small stocks to fail such as GameStop and AMC, for their own personal gain. That didn't sit well with many Reddit users, thus started the great Wall Street take down, which completely revolutionized Wall Street. Director Craig Gillespie has a very impressive resume from directing films such as I Tonya, Cruella, and even being an executive producer on Pam and Tommy. Seth Rogen has proved he is an actor that can fit in all kinds of roles, and not just as everyone's favorite stoner. Rogen played Rand Gauthier in Pam and Tommy which landed him an Emmy nomination.

It's also a good call to cast Sebastian Stan in basically anything. Stan is a passionate actor known to really transform into each character he plays. Paul Dano's recent performance as the Riddler in Matt Reeves's The Batman continued to highlight his acting skills. And ever since his departure from SNL, Pete Davidson has been proving that he is a serious actor ready to deliver a stellar performance. Davidson most recently played a role in the horror satire Bodies Bodies Bodies.

Now that the cast has been revealed, it is no doubt one of the most anticipated films of the year. While everything is still hush on the production end. Deadline claims that principal photography will begin in October. Black Bear is on the rise from just solely funding independent productions to making its way into bigger TV and film productions. While this event happened during a most troublesome time, it will be amazing to go back to a time when many jumped on the chance to try and take down one of the richest entities in the world.
