Starting today and lasting until April 20, video game retailer GameStop is running its Spring Sale 2019 promotion. The promotion offers deep discounts on some of 2019's biggest games so far, and also offers a variety of console and merchandise deals for consumers to take advantage of as well.
In terms of consoles, there's a great deal during the GameStop Spring Sale 2019 for anyone looking to pick up and Xbox One S or Xbox One X. For a limited time during the sale, from April 7 to April 13, anyone that buys a new Xbox One S or Xbox One X at GameStop will get a $50 gift card, which should be enough to pick up a couple of used games or at least one newer game. It's important to note that this deal doesn't apply to the Fallout 76 Xbox One bundle, but it does apply to all other bundles.
In terms of games, the headlining GameStop Spring Sale 2019 deal has to be The Division 2. The Division 2 is just mere weeks old, though GameStop is offering it for $49.99, $10 off its usual asking price. This isn't a steep discount by any means, but it is still likely the cheapest way to get a new copy of The Division 2 at this time.
Meanwhile, there are some other good game deals during the GameStop Spring Sale 2019. The critically-acclaimed Resident Evil 2 is available at the discounted price of $39.99 from April 7 to April 13. Kingdom Hearts 3 is also available at $39.99, though that discount will be available for the entirety of the Spring Sale promotion. Other big games on sale include a couple of 2018's biggest games in the form of Red Dead Redemption 2 ($39.99) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ($39.99).
For those looking to trade-in consoles, the GameStop Spring Sale 2019 will give them their best deal. GameStop shoppers will get a $250 trade credit when they trade-in a PS4 Pro or Xbox One X during the sale, as well as a $200 credit for a basic PS4 model or a Nintendo Switch.
