GameStop is giving gamers a chance to grab a bunch of great titles at discounted prices with its annual Memorial Day sale. Not only can gamers pick up great games, but GameStop also has accessories and collectibles available for players looking to add to their personal stashes. The electronics retailer's Memorial Day Sale lasts from May 25 to May 31 and will have deals for gamers across all platforms, whether it be PlayStation, PC, Switch, or Xbox.

Along with offering up to 50% off a variety of new games, GameStop is also running a deal on pre-owned games for all platforms. This deal means if gamers purchase two of GameStop's pre-owned offerings under $20, then they can get a third game for free. There seems to be no platform limitations, so gamers with multiple consoles can potentially pick up the entire Bioshock Collection on Switch and Little Nightmares 2 on Xbox One for $18.99 each and get Spider-Man on PS4 for free. Some pre-owned games are as little as $5, so gamers should check to see if anything piques their interest.

One of the Memorial Day sale's biggest focuses is big discounts on Nintendo Switch titles. Games that can be tough to find discounts on are in many cases $20 off, including Persona 5 Strikers and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for $39.99 each. Both of these Switch games received high scores on Metacritic, with Breath of the Wild at an impressive 97/100. Other Switch games for sale are Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black OrderOri and the Will of the Wisps, and the Borderlands Legendary Collection.

PlayStation owners can also grab Persona 5: Strikers for $39.99 on PS4, but other PlayStation deals include some big PS5 games. Assassin's Creed Valhalla, which just got its Wrath of the Druids DLC this month, is $20 off on both PS4 and PS5. NBA 2K21 is also discounted for both PS4 and PS5, but its PS5 version is $10 more at $29.99. One of the biggest price drops is for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PS4. This open-world game offers numerous hours of discovery with a great story to boot and can be picked up for $29.99.

Xbox players have similar deals and can get Red Dead Redemption 2 on Xbox One and Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Xbox Series X for identical prices to their PlayStation counterparts. Some other interesting Xbox deals are the action-adventure platformer It Takes Two for Xbox Series X and the anniversary edition of Dying Light for Xbox One, which includes expansions and DLC packs such as The Following and Hellraid. For fans of the game staying caught up with the latest Dying Light 2 news, this could be a good pick to share with a friend and get them prepped for the sequel.
