Gamescom 2019 starts Tuesday, August 20, but much like E3, the events preceding the convention may steal the show. Geoff Keighley will be hosting Opening Night Live, a stage show promising inside looks at some of the biggest upcoming games in the industry. Early Sunday afternoon, Keighley offered up some specifics about the Gamescom livestream, where online viewers can look forward to 25 different games being showcased, with the entire event lasting near two hours long.

Keighley also released a list of the games already confirmed for the show, as well as almost 10 other publishers who will have something to show. Highlights include the reveal of Borderlands 3's endgame, a Gears 5 campaign premiere, a Destiny 2: Shadowkeep expansion reveal, and Hideo Kojima presenting new information about Death Stranding. A game named Disintegration, developed by some of the original creators of Halo, will have a world premiere trailer at the event, too.
