It's a new year, with plenty of games, movies, and more to look forward to. While the industry won't really start popping off until later this month, there are tons for gamers to be excited about looming on the horizon. This week, Cameron and Anthony talk about some of the best games they closed out 2021 with, as well as the biggest news of the last few days.

Kicking things off, PlayStation revealed the PSVR2, though it might take some convincing to get more gamers involved with it. The headset sounds promising, though it's unclear if it solves the biggest complaints that fans had about the original. Namely, the first iteration had lots of cables and an extra box to plug in, which is part of why it didn't have much of an impact.

Next up, Ken Levine's next game is stuck in development hell according to a new report. Developers working alongside Levine have complained about his directorial style, stating that his ideas are often difficult to recreate due to poor communication. Publisher Take-Two has reportedly given Levine lots of freedom, which may be working against the project.

In other news, Days Gone's director has stated that the game sold more than 8 million games, but was treated as a failure by Sony, despite Ghost of Tsushima hitting similar numbers and being well-regarded. More information has come to light, though, and the director's numbers might not be accurate.

Finally, Riot Games settled a $100 million sexual harassment lawsuit setting a new precedent for future lawsuits. Plus, EA canceled a Harry Potter MMO that sounded pretty promising.
