Though the series finale of HBO's Game of Thrones may have left a bad taste in the mouths of many fans, its stars have gone on to do more great things. Kristofer Hivju, who played Tormund Giantsbane, will be playing Nivellen in Netflix's The Witcher season 2, and Hafthor Bjornsson, who played The Mountain, just broke a weightlifting world record.

Bjornsson uploaded a video to his personal YouTube account Saturday showing off his great feat of strength: Deadlifting 501 kilograms of weight, which translates to over 1,100 pounds. The former Game of Thrones star also includes over 20-minutes of behind-the-scenes footage, training clips, and post-event interviews in the YouTube video.

For those who just want to see the lift by itself, Bjornsson uploaded it to Instagram for his "family business," Thor's Power Gym and apparel shop. He says in the social media post that, "I said I was coming for it and once I set my mind on something I'm a dog with a bone." Though Bjornsson's career on Game of Thrones has ended, George R. R. Martin is continuing the book series while self-isolating.

Game of Thrones will be one of the shows available to stream through HBO Max when the service launches on May 27, 2020.
