G4TV originally shut down at the end of 2014, leaving gamers and fans of popular culture with an empty void in their television schedules. However, with the announcement of its return, fans have begun to get excited about the programming being announced. On April 30, G4TV announced that CodeMiko will be joining the lineup on the newly revived channel.

CodeMiko, a VTuber primarily featured on Twitch, has been conducting interviews with many popular digital entertainers such as Videogamedunkey. A featured tweet of hers from February shows a clip from the interview with Videogamedunkey, as she changes her model's outfits to become a scantily clad nun. CodeMiko's ability to make interviewees uncomfortable is one of the main selling points for her streams.

VTubers, also known as virtual YouTubers, produce content in a video while digitally altered to look like a different person. CodeMiko appears to take the form of a woman in her early twenties, though the character is performed by a person only known to the public as "The Technician." A digital bodysuit records her movements and processes them into the character that appears on the screen. CodeMiko is able to change outfits at will, contributing to the uncomfortable moments during interviews.

CodeMiko's meteoric rise to fame as a Vtuber on Twitch, and interactions with digital celebrities, paved the way for her soon-to-be-released content on G4TV. It's expected that CodeMiko will continue to carry out similar interviews with different personalities throughout the industry.

While popular on online platforms, it will be interesting to see how the CodeMiko interview format changes for G4TV, and whether that interferes with her current Twitch schedule. It will also be interesting to see if her interviews will be conducted live or edited afterward. While details are still yet to come on the G4 channel, its expected return is scheduled for summer 2021. Along with CodeMiko, fans of G4TV can expect a return of X-Play, along with new personalities like Goldenboy on the channel.

G4TV had catered to a younger generation of viewers, and that tradition looks to continue with its updated programming. While a complete lineup has yet to be announced, G4TV has been letting out information here and there about talent joining. CodeMiko will be an interesting addition to what is expected to be a gamer-centric channel. She currently performs every day at 3:30 EDT on Twitch, and when she isn't interviewing celebrities, she tends to make herself busy watching videos and interacting with her audience.
